When I got there, the very helpful guy on the desk said that the system wouldn't allow it to happen as a free change, as it was 6 weeks out of the 3 year exchange period, but he kindly did it for a reduced price. On returning home, I spent a very long time on the phone to apple support, who acknowledged that their site didn't mention time restrictions (and still doesn't!), but that I should have somehow known It anyway, and they refused to accept any blame. CTS did their best- Apple a bunch of lying cheats.

I used Datafixer after one of the big UK PC repair and retailers lazily wiped everything from my laptop in order to conduct a simple keyboard repair and clean-up. The same retailer then provided absolutely no assistance in recovering the data they had wiped, despite my pleas, stating it was simply not possible. The owner of Datafixer was able to recover all of this precious information, including all the photo's ever taken of my young child, in a matter of hours. I could not recommend Datafixer highly enough and wouldn't trust anyone else to repair my laptop ever again.
