On returning home, I spent a very long time on the phone to apple support, who acknowledged that their site didn't mention time restrictions (and still doesn't!), but that I should have somehow known It anyway, and they refused to accept any blame. When it came back there had been services and programs installed that were completely unnecessary, such as re-installation of windows and added anti-virus security (the fault was not caused by a virus) which all rocketed up the price from a £20-£30 quote to over £150. Furthermore, the owner publicly brags about 'taking people for a ride'. Purposeful overcharging and dodgy service. Don't go there, even if your life depends on it.

brought my sons laptop to pc box coz it was freezing and sometimes not starting. was told the…read morerepair would cost £70 to complete and i would be contacted if other work needed doing. as a novice to computers i left the laptop with kevin but when i had waited 8 days and got a phone call saying a new board was needed and the cost was £315. i paid the money but when i got home my son said it was still not working properly and was still crashing. i took it to someone a friend recommended and the guys told me the laptop needed windows reinstalling? and that the problem was not the board. i got taken for a mug by pc box by paying the money. i am seriously thinking about contacting trading standards as on the paperwork the work was not done and the invoice for the board (kevin claimed to have purchased from a online shop) wasnt present so i dont know if the board was actualy swapped at all! please avoid pc box coz you could get ripped off like i have. my son is now out of pocket by over 300 pounds coz of this.
