Or if the web says they are when you get there they say ah well you see there was a robbery in the warehouse and we haven't got them. I've been told this twice! The shop does stock lots of stuff and it can be useful if you want to see what your getting before you buy it cheaper off the net. The staff are either computer geeks with no manners or sales techniques or sales staff with no idea about PC's! Try to avoid if you can.

However, they serve a good purpose - delivering technology to people who don't really understand it. If you have any clue about computers, or have a close friend who does, then you'd be much better off shopping around, or even building your own. But if not, then PC World will guide you through the process, and has everything you need under one roof. No matter what you're after, PC World should stock it, but for much, much more than you would pay online. The staff try to be friendly and helpful, but they will tend to struggle with any jargon, and you will get passed around all the customer advisers. Overall, PC World serves it's purpose well, but if you know your RAM from your CPU, they will frustrate you
