Sorry for writing in English, my German knowledge is still very elementary.. But it is my responsibility to write this review even if I did not know the language, at least it would help someone who understands English.. I had an unpleasant experience with this service center. Few weeks ago I started hearing a very faint clicking noise from inside the case of my almost brand-new macbook pro 13inch retina late-2013 model (considering how long these machines run, even though the 1-year warranty expires in the next two months, I still call it almost brand-new).. This very faint clicking noise, like something rubbing against the aluminium case could be heard only while tilting the mac around 90 degree to one side and then to other continously (even while switched off), and not heard while stationary and even if fan is running fast etc. Since it was in warranty, and since my mac does not have a moving-parts hard-disk, I did not think a noise like that is normal.. So I contacted the online Apple support, who suggested me two service centers near me, one was Compustore at Theresienstrasse, or Gravis at Nelson-Mandela-Platz. I obviously thought Compustore was the No.1 in the list, so why not take it there. It was evident from my first visit that the staff did not care much about my problem, first they never bothered to hear for the noise properly, one person even told me he could not hear a thing, while I could (the noise was heard only in a relatively silent environment like a quiet house in germany, not on the street).. So obviously it was easy for them to pretend that they could not hear anything.. They were trying to convince me that even if there is a small clicking noise, this is normal, might be the fan moving here and there and a lot of such stories, but I finally convinced them that I wanted them to open it and have a look if everthing is alright, then I was told that I have to leave my mac there for around 2 weeks, I agreed, and after just a week, I got a call from them that my mac has been repaired and ready for pick-up. Upon arriving at the service center, I learned from them that they've replaced the defective right-fan (free of cost of course due to warranty), but I could still hear the clicking noise, this time even louder and more prominently. That's the last thing I wanted, the problem has become worse. But even worse was waiting.. The staff was now even deafer to the noise. None of them could hear any noise now, one gentleman did not even care to look.. Then they sent their least experienced person (who appeared to be a trainee, no offense) to tell me that there is nothing more they could do!! I was so annoyed and disappointed at this. I had no choice but to take it to Gravis at Nelson-Mandela-Platz, the staff there was immediately able to identify the noise and told me 'of course we hear it'.. That is the least I expect from a service center, to make an effor at least to know what the customer's problem is. My mac is now with Gravis, maybe they will fix it, or maybe they cannot, maybe I am over reacting, maybe the noise is harmless, and I should be worrying about more important things in life, but that's not the point here.. The point is, I believe the first step to be taken by someone at a service center is, to show some interest in the difficulty faced by the customer, instead of ridiculing them, it is not my mistake that they have a lot of computers to repair. I don't know if anyone's experience with Compustore was similar. Please feel free to respond or comment in German, that way it would be helpful for more people. Thank you for the patient listening. read more
