(Obviously this review is for other ladies. Men, go away)…read more I have been going to this office since I was about 16 years old, seeing the same OB/GYN the whole time (Dr. Hrzencik). Obviously in the past it was for normal female wellness appointments, to get birth control, etc. She is very kind, understanding and knowledgeable. I opted to get an IUD about 6 years ago instead of continuing birth control pills (I never can remember to take those things, lol). And while I was warned it would hurt like no pain I had ever felt, I was totally unprepared for the firey hot poked that my cervix dilating feels like. An MA had to come in just to hold my hand. Recently, my husband and I have been seeing her for OB appointments (yay!), but we have had to go through the less than thrilling process of having a miscarriage in the beginning of the second trimester. It is not a fun process by any means, but Dr. H and her staff have made me feel welcome to call with any questions or concerns, and have been calling to double check on me, because it really is a crappy situation. They were very kind and thoughtful when they had to tell us, and have made sure to give us all the information they can about our situation. I know they're have our best interests at heart and are not happy when they have to deliver news like that. tl;dr Dr. H is wonderful and very kind, even when she has to give you bad news. I've never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome here, and always felt like I could call with any questions, good or bad.

Ok ladies we need to do this yearly thing we all hate. We…read moreneed to do it for ourselves and our loved ones. Dr. Crooks has a chair in her office that assists with this procedure. It raises up, tilts back into a sort of table and the seat drops out. Then there you are in perfect position. No more of the scoot to the end of table nonsense here at this practice. She is also very personable, comforting and knowledeable. Quick to smile, shakes your hand and makes certain all your questions are answered. Even the ones you did'nt know to ask. Appointments are timely. Staff is efficient and accomodating.

I absolutely ADORE Dr. Crooks. She is the best doctor I have ever had, let alone the best OB/GYN…read more I have been seeing Dr. Crooks for over 3 years and have delivered both my children through her practice. First of all, she is an incredibly knowledgeable doctor. She is up-to-date on the most current recommendations and practices, and never had trouble answering any of my questions. Also, she has a wonderful bedside manner. She is very friendly and very professional. She always comes in, shakes your hand and smiles at you. She sits down and asks how you're doing and then, more importantly, LISTENS to your answer. She never seems to be in a rush to get out of the room, and yet somehow manages to run on time most days. She never makes you feel stupid for asking any question (and you have a lot when you're pregnant!). I delivered my first child with her, and it was a wonderful experience. My husband (who has a general dislike for most doctors) couldn't say enough about her and how great she was. I delivered my second baby with one of the other doctors in the practice, and he was good too. But I wish she'd been on call for that delivery because I preferred her. Her staff is fantastic. The nurses are so sweet and friendly and put you at ease immediately. The receptionists are also great. I actually found myself missing them when I had my baby and didn't have to go in monthly (weekly at the end) for check-ups. I joked with them that I missed them so much that I got pregnant again quickly so I could see them more often. I would (and have) recommend Dr. Crooks to many of my friends and family. I am so glad I found a good OB/GYN at last!

I cannot say enough good things about PA Katie McDonald. From the moment I walked in, I felt…read moregenuinely heard, respected, and cared for--something that is unfortunately rare in women's healthcare. She took the time to truly listen, never rushed the appointment, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. Her professionalism, compassion, and knowledge created a safe, judgment-free environment and made what can often be an uncomfortable visit feel empowering and reassuring. I left feeling confident in my care and grateful to have found a provider who treats patients as people, not just appointments. Katie sets the standard for what quality women's healthcare should be. I highly recommend Katie!

I got extreme post-partum and they helped figuring out what medication I needed. Then I got divorced, my insurance changed. You let me pay cash and that went on for awhile. Then I get a call that said "sorry, we can't accept cash anymore so we can't make any more appointments for you. I was upset and said well how am I going to get my medications filled, the girl in the office said I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you. I asked if I could speak to the doctor that was seeing me and she said I'll let her know to give you a call. No call. I called again and left a voicemail. Nothing. No response. So I ran out of sertraline and had to just quit. I would think they would understand what that can do to someone. I was shocked that a doctor's office would do that. I don't need to let you know all the side effects I received as a result of that. They don't care about people, only about getting paid.
