Communication was great throughout the whole planning process and everything felt super organized and easy from start to finish. At first, everyone was kind of shy about getting on the dance floor, but our DJ read the room perfectly, played the right songs to ease people in, and before we knew it the dance floor was PACKED! Even some family who I had never seen dance were out there having the time of their lives and turned into party animals real fast. The photos and video came out beautiful too, and they captured so many fun moments we didn't even realize were happening. Even a one star is too highly rated for this establishment. It's been a year since my wedding, and I'm still humiliated and sad over what occurred. They nickeled and dimed us util my wedding event. with that said the DJ and photographer was extremely disorganized, and unprepared. One of the biggest moments in my wedding was when I proceeded to walk down the aisle to my then fiancée, with the music we had chosen for that special moment. Midway through walk the DJ made a major mistake by accidently switching our song to an inappropriate Rap Song. The guest gasp and I was so embarrassed. He didn't stop there; the playlist of music we previously discussed were not played. we had to keep asking him to play the music we requested. He continued to apologize. It was a flat performance. The photographer was nowhere to be found on the important moments. we had a $14,000 venue. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! However, the photos taken did not reflect this. The photos were as if an unprofessional person took them. We did not even request to purchase them. The proofs sent to us in pieces. meaning we were sent photos over time in increments of four (sent a set of photos over 4 stages at a time). My wedding was a year ago and we just received more proofs to purchase as of last week. A professional would have given all our proofs at once. No one have seen our wedding photos till this day. I reached out to Complete Wedding + Events regarding what had occurred. We have never heard back from this establishment. Therefore, I warn anyone and everyone who chooses to use Complete Wedding and Events to think twice. They will offer you the world, but unable to deliver. Our wedding cost us $58,000.00. Over 6 months out from our wedding, we were wanting to change the plans instead of needing 7 hours of photography and videography to 2 hours- but the Manager, Damon, was unwilling to work with us and transfer or change the deposit (that was not clearly indicated or communicated as non-refundable) we put down and said we signed a contract for the 7 hours and needed to pay for that. He chose to stick to the "contract" and used the excuse to "pay his employees" (which I'm sure they weren't even getting even $50 from the small deposit we put down), instead of choosing to service our wedding (showing he prefers profit over people). In addition, the contract NEVER stated that we put down a "refundable" deposit towards the DJ and photography - it just said "payments made including the refundable deposit" -- but said $0.00 towards non refundable deposit. (I have a picture but it doesn't let me share). We have 3 other friends getting married in FL in 2025, and we will not refer a company that is unwilling to adjust services because they just want the money. Our company recently celebrated 60 Years in Business and hired the Complete Weddings + Events team to assist in our entertainment for the evening. We had the pleasure of working with Taylor for our Photo Booth and DJ Kaiden for music and MC'ing. Taylor and Kaiden were so fun to work with! Both came beyond prepared for the evening's festivities. Upon arrival, both checked in and gave a run down of their set-up process. From their, they managed their time and set-ups and were ready to go well before our events began. Taylor provided a couple of options for our Photo Booth print-outs to be sure we were happy with the design and layout. She assured me that if there were any changes we wanted to make, it would take mere seconds to make any revisions. We decided on the final print and that was that. All our employees enjoyed taking photos with their friends and loved ones throughout the evening and taking away their own copies of the pictures made a great souvenir. Kaiden assisted with announcements and reminders throughout the event. He had a great playlist with a wonderful array of genres. I think there was definitely something for everyone! Before choosing this company keep reading my experience with them to learn how to save an extraordinary amount of money. This company likes to bait and switch. At the meeting our representative stated that we can choose whoever we want from their website. Since our wedding was over a year out we would have who we requested absent any exigencies (i.e. unemployment or death). Upon returning home we choose the specific DJ, Photographer and videographer we wanted to reserve. After emailing our representative we received a response that the photographer and videographer were inputted into the computer as our choice but, because the DJ was their most popular DJ it would cost $250 to reserve him. This was a new condition on the contract that was not outlined nor discussed prior to this so it was a big surprise to us. I consider this a breach of contract. I immediately contacted them and voiced my opinion with them and they insisted on the additional charge to choose a DJ that they said was their most requested. At that time I canceled the contract and requested a refund of the deposit which they have denied to refund. Now here is the lesson for all of you that are thinking of utilizing Complete Weddings and Event in Oakland Park..... Look on their website for the names of their Photographers, Videographers and DJs. Then search their names on social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). Contact them over the Social Media platform and request a quote directly from them. You eliminate the middle man (Complete) and arent subject to their 20% margins. It works. I can confirm that. We hired Complete Media Events via a bridal expo my bride-to-be attended where they offered a discount on a package for engagement pictures, wedding video & pictures (6 hours of each), as well as a photobooth if we booked that day. We checked out some videos online and it seemed great, so we committed. The engagement shoot went great, with a very talented photographer Tony. Very high quality work. Then we coordinated for the day of wedding (they have an online form you fill out with details/requests), where they met us at our hotel for 'getting ready' pics & video, and then over to the actual venue, where they shot the ceremony in full and most of the reception before they left when the 6 hours were up. We also got a copy of all the raw footage, which I highly recommend, as you can later use it to make great anniversary videos, or supplemental videos, and re-live more of the event's other special moments which likely were not included in full in the Highlight video. We have yet to get our highlight, so I can't comment on that, but just be aware it'll likely take 8-12 weeks after your event to receive that. We got the photobooth pictures immediately the night of the wedding on a flash drive, and we got the professional pictures about 1 month after the event on a CD. Although the shots were great, they didn't seem to be edited/processed much, so we did some additional editing ourselves. For example, there were many duplicate pics with people blinking, blurry, etc. I would've removed those (or at least put in a subfolder of 'extras') before delivering to customer but I'm just being nitpicky as we got almost 900 pics total and it was a lot to sift through when we paid a large amount for the services. The wedding photographer Tony #2 (different Tony), and videographer William did excellent jobs, and we're very happy with their work. I have to be honest and say that it took a few calls into the office to track down the status of our pictures & footage (as they hire out to other parties to edit), but once we spoke with Damon Russell (General Manager) & Carl (Video Manager), they made sure to take care of us and get us the content as quickly as possible. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Complete Media, and just be aware that they work countless events, so it's easy for them to lose track of one, but it's obvious they do value every customer, and once I calmly explained my situation to the managers, they were very willing to ensure that I stayed a happy customer. Full disclosure: I have a similar wedding media business of my own (VAM Vid) so I was not the usual customer, and yet they made sure to go out of their way to make us satisfied. I'd have given 4 stars initially, but rounding up here to 5 since they were very helpful once I did speak with the managers. They had a policy to not give the raw footage until the Highlight is delivered, but considering my situation of being a video editor myself, they allowed us to get the footage early (on Valentine's Day!), which we are grateful for. Honestly, I never leave bad reviews. It has taken me over a year to be able to do so. My husband and I hired Complete for our photography and videography. Awful expierience. Be cautious when you go to the office and they show you the beautiful videos and photos- that is NOT what they deliver. It's easy to get hyped on what they show you, because it is beautiful. To be honest, our photographers were great people but I think the way they run the business and how they deliver their photos is where they really lack. We received photos that were not edited, maybe just the "auto edit" and general editing you can do without any photo editing experience. We received photos with a microphone and other objects completely covering our faces during the ceremony, and awful "portrait" photos with dirty public backgrounds that were not edited at all. We tried talking and working with them but they really were not willing to give the right customer service and instead of providing excellent customer service and going above and beyond they would ask "what would you like us to do?" and we would say a refund of some sort, or reshoot but to be honest the damage was done. You one have one wedding day. There was absolutely no follow up on trying to correct the situation which obviously shows us they were just talk and not really willing to really rectify. We literally have not posted our wedding photos because we are embarrassed to. Your wedding is so special, and these people are not "cheap"- ESPECIALLY considering how they deliver. They might be a little less expensive then another reputable company, but it's not worth the heartbreak of still paying a good amount and not having your beautiful day properly captured. read more

I would hire Complete all over again! Damon and Arturo paid attention to every detail throughout the wedding process. Johnny shot our engagement photos and we had a blast. He has great energy. The photos weren't edited to our liking, but when I reached out to Arturo, he fixed them and sent them back with no additional charge. We hired Complete for photo, video, dj, and photobooth services for our wedding. The whole staff (DJ/MC's Lynn & Darron, videographer Camilo & photographers Abby & Johnny and Photo-Booth attendant Jans) were absolutely amazing. Lynn and Darron got the family involved in dances and kept the energy hype, even for our unique brunch wedding! She sent a follow-up email a few days later thanking us for being part of our wedding. Camilo captured moments we didn't even see, arranging props and things to make each shot perfect. The video was stunning and helped us relive our special day from start to finish. Johnny helped to supervise everyone and brought amazing energy that made the entire day stress-less. Jans was friendly with the family and even reminded guests to stop and take photos in the photobooth and sign the guestbook. The photobooth itself was a little confusing, resulting in some pretty candid shots. The props were a bit dated and used, they could use an upgrade before the next event or some laminate to keep them preserved, but the guestbook served as a great reminder of everyone's well wishes! I saved the last review for Abby, our photographer. She was the absolute best. I hired her for a boudoir photoshoot the day before the wedding and she was so understanding and patient with requests and "must-have" shots. The day of the wedding, she arrived on time and kept us close to schedule, still capturing all the fun every moment of the way! She was funny and sassy and definitely kept up with our crazy groomsmen and needy family. One of my must-have shots was a huge family photo. She pulled it off and even stole our bubble favors for the cutest shots! She had a great energy and was so much fun to have around all day, being conscious of our newlywed time together and getting the perfect shots. Once we got our photos back, we fell I'm love all over again looking through the memories of the best day ever! I recommend Complete for all their services and the great management. If I could, I would give them 0 stars. ***DO NOT HIRE*** I hired Complete for videography for my wedding this past August. When we walked through their doors, my husband and I were very impressed with their presentation. They showed us a beautifully edited video and we really enjoyed the experience. We ended up booking them with a 2-3 min highlight clip as well as a Documentary video (30 min-1 hour) with chapters (I was explained that each section of the wedding would be separated by chapters which I would be able to select from the title menu). I was quoted 10-12 weeks for my video and it ended up being late-not a few days, but weeks. I actually had to be the one to follow up several times to check on the status as no one from the company contacted me to let me know it would be late-it's like they forgot. They kept making excuses as to why it was late. I finally received the "finished" product and I could not believe what I saw. It was a completely unedited video, music/sound was cut off at different stages of the video, my sister sang during our first dance and the sound was cut of for half of it. It was two hours long of mostly thrown together unedited footage and there were no chapters. Also, there was no highlight clip, which was in our contract. When I contacted them regarding this, they quickly apologized and said that I would get the highlight video in a few days. They also told me that my video is two hours long and that THEY DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO SIT AND WATCH THE ENTIRE UNEDITED FOOTAGE TO ENSURE IT'S QUALITY. How anyone who calls themselves a company that offers this service could miss the sound cutting out of the video during the scene of the first dance completely blows my mind. They also said that they've never done chapters before so they couldn't provide that (when this was part of my deal with them). They promised that they would have it back to me shortly. WEEKS later after following up on the status of the video, I get the next version. They sent it with a partial refund of $100 which was the least that they could have done with what I had already gone through. The editing was honestly sub par. Same things as before-poorly edited- sound cutting in and out, barely any footage of anyone dancing/enjoying the evening, only shots of decoration and silverware, etc. That is when I asked for a full refund. They did not budge. Since the actual video was good, I asked for the raw footage so that I can edit it elsewhere and they said that they don't offer that. So they asked me to tell them the mistakes from the video and how to fix it. I ended up compiling a list of what to cut/edit/add/etc hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second. I even offered to go over it on the phone, I offered to go in there and sit with the editor on my own time. They asked for another month for their "top" editor to work on it. They then changed their mind and offered to give me the raw footage and "break their rules" to provide it. I said yes but with a 50% off refund. They said no because I already have an "edited version" so I said to continue with the edits. Over a month passes and I (of course) have to be the one to follow up on the status. They said its ready and asked me if I wanted to see the link first before they send me the video and I said yes. They never provided it and ended up sending me the video in the mail. I start to watch the video and every single edit that I requested was not even done. It was like I got the same video back from before. READ THIS THOUGH....So I asked for the raw footage again. They came back to me with an "agreement" for me to sign that says that they will provide the raw footage as long as I don't leave a bad review, tell my friends and family or sue them. Clearly, this company knows that they messed up so they are obviously trying to protect themselves. I did NOT sign that and that is when I decided to leave my review here and put in a claim with the Better Business Bureau (make sure you go there before booking anything!!). That video that they showed me the day I walked through their doors was a complete fake. The video I received in the end (7 months later) was again so unprofessionally done. The videographer and the actual shots from the wedding were great but the service and editing were so horrendous that it ruined the whole experience. This whole experience made me feel like customer service is non-existent. It felt like I gave them my hard earned money away and they completely ignored my wishes, treated me poorly and presented me with really low quality work. SHAME ON THEM! read more

Left three messages without reply from them, and when I finally reached them, the best they could do was a $25 credit. Understandable that the fee can't be refunded considering the short cancelation but would've appreciated a better compensation considering that no one called us back to confirm policy after multiple inquiries. Photographer was more accessible but she referred us to the office, who were not helpful. Smart business people know how to keep their customers, these folks did not leave us with that impression. The amount paid , the coordinator, the office staff, the DJ, and photographer falls in the category of wonderful... HOWEVER, I am so disturbed that I paid for video for ceremony AND reception. All I got was some footage of the ceremony, not great footage, but nonetheless, some footage. While I'd admit many ppl couldn't make it, the party continued. I say that to say I should have had footage since I paid for it! NO footage from my 1st dance, the wedding party entrance, and most of all, my 12 year old daughter's speech which was PHENOMENAL! It's one year next month and as my planner wants to use/ incorporate all from last year into another ceremony in our home state, it's more stressful than a year ago as I have NOTHING to give him to incorporate. The company is very organized and detailed oriented (like me ) which I appreciated because you need those type of people when planning a wedding. Arturo is an amazing person and made me feel at ease. I used this company for video, photo,dj, and photo booth for my daughters bat mitzvah in 2015 . Damon was fantastic as coordinator and emcee. The dancers/party motivators were great. The dj was great. I had some issues with photos as far as not taking enough formal family photos and table shots, but otherwise everything was fine. I went with them again for my sons barmitzvah in 2018 and was very specific this time around as far as what I wanted for photos, but otherwise told them "do everything else like my daughters". I know they use different djs and videographers and photographers for every event so it's a crapshoot who you might get. I was dealing via email with Arturo, not Damon. I was very pleased to have Damon back as emcee and one of the dancers from my daughters bat mitzvah. Everyone else was different, but all very nice. However the dj didn't follow my list of songs I requested in my online planner. Things seemed out of order to me as far as the mother son dance, the cake etc, the buffet time felt rushed (I'm sure this had more to do with my venue rather than Damon) things just didn't seem to go as smoothly as my daughters. As the mom, I'm so caught up with everything going on that you don't have time to realize the things I felt went wrong until a day later. So I get my pictures and I'm really not happy with them. First I couldn't download them from the drive they sent. They gave me access to the online gallery and The quality when printed in an album (which I got online not from them) made me think they weren't taken in high res. The pictures aren't very clear. Now the biggest problem...the video. They sent me one on a flash drive (when I requested dvd). The video they sent was awful, very important parts of the party were edited out. Arturo said they would fix it and sent me another one. Still poorly edited, missing important parts and on a flash drive again. I complained again and they redid it and sent it to me on yet another flash drive. This final version has all the parts I had been requesting, however not edited (or maybe the videographer wasn't that great to begin with) very well in my opinion. Scenes were put together very choppy. I also realized that the videographer must have just left the camera in a tripod rather than walking around with it. But it was adequate enough and I was done with requesting edits. I finally got my Blu-ray the and they did not send me the third version that I approved. Emailed Arturo AGAIN and he said they would find the correct version and send it out. I did get another Blu-Ray after waiting and waiting and to be honest it is now almost 2 years from the event and I haven't even watched it to make sure it was the right one because I was so frustrated with the whole experience. read more

Its true, you get what you pay for. I can't say much for all their services but for video, I would pass. For starters, it was a couple days before our wedding and my husband had to reach out to them about our wedding coming up and the details. Our videographer was not very personable at all. He would follow the lead of our photographers all the time. He was not there for our couples pictures so in our video we don't have much video of us as a couple (on our wedding day). Towards the end of the night (still in the videographers time), our best man went to give the videographer his tip and he said he was already gone. After the wedding again we didn't hear from anyone. I had to reach out to them again and it was 3 weeks after our wedding. We should have received some follow up email. This is when we find out that there are limits on the music they can use in the cinematography. Its website called royalty free music. Let me tell you, you don't know any of the artists on here. I have watched plenty of wedding videos with lots of different popular songs, and at this point, after our wedding they are telling us there are copyright issues. If there are copyright issues, then that is fine, but I still don't see how other companies, big companies, have the rights to play the music then. This was only a big deal to us because when we booked we asked about the music for the video and if we could pick it. The response was, yes and that we would just tell the editor what we want after. So when you see beautiful wedding videos with popular music, and you have your heart set on that and to hear after your wedding and giving your business to someone, it's not professional. After all of this and accepting the fact about the music, because what could we do now? We let it go and we waited it out for our video. The video wait time is 10-12 weeks, which is fine with us. Even though this is another thing we weren't told until after the wedding. When we finally got our video it was horrible. It came in documentary style instead of cinematography. The video was shaky and it seemed that a child had filmed it. When we reached out to them, Arianna was helping us and laughing at us when we told her about our concerns. She had to speak to the editor and get back to us. After a week she tells us that they gave us both styles to accommodate us for being upset about the music. We had to tell her to watch the "cinematography" because it was very poorly put together. This was a lot of back and fourth and long story short, after another 3 weeks we were sent another video edit and it was better but I still look at it, and regret going with Complete. There are things in our day that just seem missing. Again, videographer left early, and wasn't there for our couple shoot after the ceremony. We don't know where he was. Again, I cant speak for their other services but video, I would pass. You get what you pay for. We decided to do video last, because after much considering we decided to add it in our budget. You only have one day to capture your wedding. You can't go back in time and film it again. read more

I wish I could rate them with no star. I hired this complete media mess for my wedding and it was the worst mistake and choice of my life. I Can't take it back now, but I wanted to save any bride or any one planning a serious lifetime moment or event from this horrible experience that my husband and I had with them. The overall experience was a complete disaster, from bad customer service from the manager Damon, he was just a nightmare. My wedding was December 21st 2014. I put a deposit with them to booked the date. Schedule an engagement session and the pictures were HORRIBLE, picture quality was a complete mess, I had to hire another photographer for my engagement and wedding pictures and the difference of quality was day and night, thank God I took those engagement pics because the moment I got them back, I knew I didn't want them taking my wedding pictures. I went to them for a refund and showed them all the mistake in the pictures and Damon the owner refused to give me my money back because the day was already booked, he didn't offer to redo or even fix them, or even take the time to sit down to see the mistakes, his main thing was "well you already put a deposit and I can't give that back" very rude person. After hours of the big back and forth with him, I left the office really upset not only my pictures were a mess but his attitude and professionalism was just horrible. I didn't want to loose my big deposit with them of 1400 dollars, so I went with them for 8 hours of video time , because the worst I thought they could do is hold the video upside down to mess it up. Little did I know. I wish I could go back and just loose my deposit and hired someone else for my video. Your wedding is the most important day of your life, and I can't go back and redo everything, because it's already done and now I don't have a good video to share with family and friends that didn't attend the wedding or even to show my children in the future because all the important moments were not captured and the quality of the video is horrible just horrible. So to any bride out there who wants Great pictures and a good video for your special day stay AWAY. Do your research. Please avoid them at all costs. My photographer was rude and smelled like BO. I asked him to go to one location, then the next. He bypassed the first location on purpose and said it was because it "did not make sense". I now have no professionally taken photos of my groom on our wedding day. When he arrived, he spoke negatively about me saying "its usually the mother of the bride, not the bride, that is crazy"--he said this to my MOH! Then, my DJ who was also with complete was completely unprepared. He was talking loudly on his phone during the ceremony, played the wrong song when we made our grand exit, announced people by the wrong names, accidentally had the music cut out during our grand entrance as Mr and Mrs, and even forgot my fathers name when introducing for the father daughter dance. Oh! And for our first dance, maybe 30 seconds in, he invited everyone to join in. So my husband and I were crowded by 30+ people during our moment. Everyone was reluctant, but thought that this was what we wanted, so joined in anyway. His phone even rang during dinner and it was projected over the microphone over the music. Also, when we asked for jazz and smooth music during dinner, he started playing loud 90s pop music. Needless to say, I am mortified. I was completely disappointed in this company. We hired them to shoot our wedding. They charged a small fortune but in the end when we looked over our package it felt like they took $100 out of what they charged us and paid an amateur to do the work. Everything about the experience was bad. If I could go back and do it again I would pick someone else. The reviews are all true and I wish I had listened.... Don't do it. Don't. Believe the reviews. I had so many other options to choose from so WHY did I choose CME!? It was my decision - my bf had me choose for her wedding. She even asked if I would call Miami Party DJ but I passed on them and went with these guys. The reception was a mess. They had gear problems all night. Worst day of my life.
