We purchased a home and the sellers enlisted the services of a roofer named Lee Poarch from Complete Quality Roofing for a roofing job that was supposed to be completed prior to close. He had completed the initial roofing job, and these were repairs paid for by insurance. He has already been paid. Initially, things seemed promising. Lee and his team arrived promptly and commenced the repair of the issues. However, that's where the positive experience ended. He quickly said that he did not have all of the tools and would need to return.
Lee and his crew did not return, leaving the job incomplete. This sudden disappearance left our home exposed to the elements, resulting in damage inside. Water seeped through the uncovered roof causing property damage and a considerable headache for us as homeowners. He initially communicated via text, acknowledging that he had already been paid and needed to complete the job. More than once he promised he would be there the following day and did not return.
The unprofessionalism exhibited throughout this ordeal was truly disappointing. Any attempt to contact him and seek clarification on the situation was met with argumentative and dismissive responses. Instead of taking responsibility for the incomplete work and the resulting damage, he deflected blame and failed to offer a reasonable explanation or a plan for resolution.
What is particularly disconcerting is learning about his past history. Research revealed that he has a track record of unfulfilled commitments, with reports of incomplete projects and dissatisfied customers. In fact, there have been instances where he has been arrested for not completing work. This raises serious concerns about his credibility and professionalism as a contractor. It appears that even completed work was done poorly and resulted in issues. Given the opportunity, we would never have hired him. Without that choice made, we were left to deal with the consequences that have still not been resolved. read more
