It's like it's set up to do that so people won't return anything. It takes forever, the cashier gets flustered, customers in line get irritated. Why exactly is this an ongoing thing? Also every single time I try to use a coupon there is an issue. Half the time I leave the store and the coupon wasn't applied. This includes coupons procured in their own special personalized coupon book. Crazy right? Do better Natural Grocers! I have this problem nowhere else. As in NOWHERE. Just at my 'friendly' irritating ridiculous neighborhood health food store. Makes me not want to shop there ever again. At the very least I don't recommend the place to anyone. We called the store and spoke to a manager. He said he would refund. We brought the unopened boxes back, paid with a credit card for a refund or replacement. An employee asked us to come back later when a manager would be there. Which we did. The manager refused to refund or replace said we should have returned the product before expiration. Calls and emails to corporate executives went unanswered. Talk about penny wise and pound foolish. They have lost our business for ever.
