I feel if I'm going to spend $325.00 for a course I should be treated with a little bit more courtesy than she displayed. The real deal breaker was when it came time to schedule my son's road skills test--this chick didn't tell me he needed to bring anything but his TIP and $40.00 cash. When my husband and son showed up a hour early for the road skills test, the owner of the business demanded that he show a birth certificate before the road skills test. Mind you, the birth certificate, social security card and TIP was provided before my son enrolled for the class. My son completed the course, did 8 hours of driving and now he CAN'T do his road skills test because her daughter failed to inform us to bring a copy of my son's birth certificate!!! The owner kept trying to tell my husband about the state laws...when he asked he her to show him in writing about the state laws she started stuttering and couldn't find anything in writing. To top it all off he demanded that he leave her business and threatened to call the police on him. As far as my son's road skills test, he was told to go to another driving school in the area and schedule the road skills test. This is SOME KIND of customer service. I'm so glad I don't have to pay for another child to go through driving class because it certainly won't be with SHUT UP & DRIVE!

They are one of the most affordable in Angelina County and they don't compromise in quality. Everyone in my class passed the DPS test with an A, and myself a 100. The driving coaches did an excellent job and provided outstanding support and guidance for my…read moredaughter who was nervous and self conscious about her driving ability and being judged. Two of the driving coaches we worked with have years of experience and skill with this age group of kids that they work with. They provided instruction on things for both of us to concentrate on improving and how to get better. We had issues with drifting to the right and they talked with us both and my daughter gained confidence and improved and passed the driving test with no problems. Several of my daughter's friends went through the Northwest Driving Academy LLC located in Bossier City and all of us would highly recommend considering using them.

Before the test even began, Ms. Dazetta Williams mentioned she had recently been in a car accident and was still in pain. While I understand that, it seemed to affect how she conducted my test and made the environment feel tense and uncomfortable. During the road test, she pressed the brake multiple times in situations that were not life-threatening, even though the instructions stated that intervention should only happen when necessary for safety. The first time, I was backing up in a parking lot and was already watching the curb carefully when she suddenly braked. The second time, I was slowing down at a safe distance behind another vehicle, and she braked before I had the chance to fully stop. The final time, I was preparing to make a left turn on a blinking yellow arrow. I stayed behind the white line and was waiting for a safe gap in traffic. As I began to ease forward slightly to prepare for the turn, she abruptly braked again before I even entered the intersection. After that, I was told I failed because of the last situation, even though I had not actually made an unsafe move. I feel like I was not given a fair opportunity to demonstrate my driving ability. The constant braking and grabbing the wheel made me nervous and interfered with my performance. As a new driver, I understand I'm still learning, but I was driving cautiously and trying to follow the rules. I believe I deserved a chance to correct any minor mistakes rather than being failed immediately. After investing a significant amount of money into this course, this experience was very discouraging. I contacted Louisiana Driving School Complaints and you will be going down.
