He referred me to Dr. Bartling at SWPA Endodontics. I really knew nothing of what a root canal involved...only the horror stories of decades ago. Wow, apparently dentistry has come a long, long way! Not only did he thoroughly explain the possible causes and how it is now done in great detail, put me at ease with how it's done in an approximate 45 min procedure. Left there fully able to go back to work. Absolutely do not want to fail to mention that the staff is outstanding! The procedure is still a bit tedious but nothing like it was described to me by friends in the past. Keep in mind that every case is different I'm sure and everyone's experience may not mirror the total ease of mine, but I can assure anyone that they will put every effort in making it as smooth as possible. I arrived before the scheduled appointment to ask about these pre-meds. The younger one told me that they do not give pre-meds to patients with my condition. I informed her that even though one is vaccinated that individual can transmit Covid like anyone else that is not vaccinated. After hearing all of this, I did not feel comfortable having dental work done by this office and will seek other options.
