Thanks to Ginny and Asha, my hips are so much stronger. Just as important, they taught me exactly what to keep doing at home so I can maintain the progress and keep improving. I'm now continuing pelvic floor physical therapy with Asha, and it has been incredibly helpful (to say the least!). Pelvic floor PT is so much more than I ever realized. I learn something new every session, and I've already noticed real improvements in my day-to-day life. Eddie at the front desk is always friendly and really helpful, and everything runs smoothly when it comes to scheduling and visits. My husband actually started physical therapy at Ability Rehab first, which is how I found them, and I'm so grateful he did. If you're looking for physical therapy in Orlando--especially women for pelvic floor therapy--I highly recommend Ability Rehab. The appointment was quick, thorough and very smooth. I had a follow-up appointment for blood work before heading into work so I was a little nervous about being late. Miguel was an amazing help to me. He gave me advice and I was in and out SO fast. I also must mention Brandy (my flobotonist(?)) was also over the top friendly and so warm and welcoming. BTW, I did not even feel her take my blood! Best appointments I have been to in a long time, and it is because of the people.

I went to Dr. Placer to consult on a procedure called Prolotherapy or PRP. They are similar but not the same. Essentially, it's non-surgical and very quick. Within 3 weeks, I was all set with the ability to throw a ball, swing a club and baseball bat. The doctor was GREAT. He was friendly, encouraged questions, never made me feel rushed, and did not insult me by telling me the internet was full of bogus information. He asked me to do my own research, then ask him questions based on what I read. Most doctors I've had are primadonnas who think the patient is an idiot and can't know anything because they did not go to medical school. Carlos Placer is NOT that way. My wife likes him because she thinks he's hot, so I guess has that going for him. The location can be tricky because traffic in that area can be total crap. Other than that, it's all good!! Pain free and able to play ball, non-surgically!

She is sweet, kind, with a beautiful welcoming smile. She's very professional and always tries to accommodate my schedule. OMG! Dr. Kerns is fantastic! I went to her at a time that I felt my pain will never leave me especially because I suffer from so many conditions. She sat with me explained everything that was going on with my body. Truthfully, I don't know what I would do without her. She has helped me tremendously with my chronic pain. For the first time, I found relief and someone that truly understands my pain.
