I should have known I was going to have another problem with this office after my very first visit,…read morewhen I waited well over an hour past my appointment time just to be seen. Unfortunately, my most recent experience proved that this office clearly has no idea what is going on. I arrived 30 minutes early for my scheduled appointment at the Ormond Beach location, only to be told after checking in that my appointment was actually in Orange City. This was after three days of trying to reach someone to confirm the location -- and being told by their voicemail not to leave more than one message. No one ever called me back. When I finally reached someone after leaving the Ormond office, she said she would contact Orange City and call me right back. That call never came either. I drove to the second location on my own, only to be told I could not be seen and would need to make yet another appointment. By then, I had wasted half my day, two unnecessary trips, and my own gas because of their complete lack of communication and coordination. No patient should have to deal with this level of disorganization. My time has value, and I fully expect the doctor to pay the invoice I submitted for the time, mileage, and inconvenience caused by their repeated mistakes. This office needs serious internal fixes before more patients are affected. I really feel for the other patients that left poor reviews

Not really one to give a negative review..but I can say that the overall care was ok…read more Dr.Schmidt himself was attentive and personable. But regarding making contact with the Orange City office is impossible. Calls go directly to the Ormond office. To make contact in any way with the Orange City office will made by leaving a message that won't be returned. If you need a refill on meds, its like pulling teeth. This office will forward a message to that office who never follows up. Not good for someone who needs Seizure meds. If they were organized and had better communication between the 2 locations, they would be a 5 star review from me.

Employees there really don't do anything for you, just direct you to different pieces of equipment and set a timer. I have been seeking pain management for over a year now after an unsuccessful back surgery. Dr…read more Kent is a new Dr. here, but I was a patient at his last practice as well. All I can really say is that I would never even consider seeing someone else. I would seriously drive hours just to continue treatment with him. He is a DO that does manipulation in addition to a somewhat traditional medicine approach. Some of the policies at this clinic are different than I am used to. For example, they drug screen every patient, each visit. This is great in the fight against opioid drug abuse here in central Florida, but has its draw backs too. What if I don't have to take a leak?! The office staff seems friendly and warm as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic, and more importantly Dr. Kent for pain management and relief.
