I should have known I was going to have another problem with this office after my very first visit,…read morewhen I waited well over an hour past my appointment time just to be seen. Unfortunately, my most recent experience proved that this office clearly has no idea what is going on. I arrived 30 minutes early for my scheduled appointment at the Ormond Beach location, only to be told after checking in that my appointment was actually in Orange City. This was after three days of trying to reach someone to confirm the location -- and being told by their voicemail not to leave more than one message. No one ever called me back. When I finally reached someone after leaving the Ormond office, she said she would contact Orange City and call me right back. That call never came either. I drove to the second location on my own, only to be told I could not be seen and would need to make yet another appointment. By then, I had wasted half my day, two unnecessary trips, and my own gas because of their complete lack of communication and coordination. No patient should have to deal with this level of disorganization. My time has value, and I fully expect the doctor to pay the invoice I submitted for the time, mileage, and inconvenience caused by their repeated mistakes. This office needs serious internal fixes before more patients are affected. I really feel for the other patients that left poor reviews

We gave this doctor's office staff only a ONE (1) because there isn't a ZERO! My wife had a…read morescheduled appointment at the Orange City clinic and due to high traffic and bad weather we were exactly 8 minutes late. The front desk receptionist pretty much gave my wife a dirty look and rudely said, "you are 8 minutes late and your appointment has been cancelled!". we asked politely "we just drove 50 miles so could you please see what can be done as my wife really needs to see this neurologist badly, PLEASE!". The receptionist working the front window has no people skills and again stated, "you were late so NO we can't help you today!" Then she started saying, "well it doesn't look like you did in pre-paperwork (which we were never told had to be completed before a visit) so we wouldn't see you today anyway!". "Have a nice evening!" was her final farewell. Horrible attitude! Bad Vibes! Rude people! would never recommend this office or being associated with this doctor's unprofessional staff ever!!!!!

I have been on…read morePermanent Disability for eight years, from incurable injuries, 3 breaks in my leg, knee damage, arthritis in knees and spine, herniated disc, frozen shoulder, both sides, and acute gastritis and hepatitis with cirrhosis, and can't take NSAIDs. When my tolerance to hydrocodone/acetaminophen reached the point of constant pain with no relief, I asked to be given what I was on in Arizona, extended release morphine, according to hepatologist, the safest and most effective medication for people with liver disease, he flatly refused and said he does NOT prescribe morphine EVER. Instead he suggested ultram, a medication that has strict warning against use with liver disorders, had I not known this and taken the pills, it would have finished off my liver, and caused my death. After explaining that to him, he gave me the Fyntanal patch, a totally infective dose that the NIH showed pictures of needing 20 at once to be as effective as morphine, a polite way of saying it is useless for severe, chronic pain. His lack of knowledge of pharmacology is dangerous. Bottom line, if you only have minor problems, he is adequate, the staff excellent. But if you have any chronic serious conditions, he will not be of any help, or worse, can do you irreparable harm. When I tried to explain the problems with his ineffective methods, and provided documentation from the leading government agencies, he treated me like a skid row bum instead of a patient of 6 years. Like many of the Doctors in Florida, he should read what the Mayo Clinic told them years ago. A doctors job is largely to control pain, if they are not willing to prescribe the medications that do that, they should find another profession.

I visited him as a new patient due to ongoing menstrual issues. After an ultrasound revealed a uterine fibroid, a cyst on my right ovary, and abnormal thickening of my uterine lining, he recommended a hysteroscopy. When I inquired about addressing the fibroid and cyst (both potential causes of bleeding), he dismissed them as unimportant, which was troubling given their relevance to my symptoms. Prior to the procedure, I expressed concerns about pain management to the front desk staff (Leslie), who assured me I would receive appropriate medication. On the day of the appointment, I was only couple minutes late, but waited quite a while before being seen. Dr. Cintron eventually entered the room, immediately asking about my "fears." When I sought clarification about the procedure and consent forms (which included an ablation that had never been discussed), he left the room only to return with excuses and ultimately refused to perform the scheduled procedure. During the appointment, I asked why other people I know had both a hysteroscopy and an ablation done together, yet he insisted on doing the hysteroscopy first, only to later refer me elsewhere for an ablation. His explanation was vague, claiming he doesn't perform ablations. This made it clear that his plan was to subject me to the pain of one procedure first, bill my insurance for it, and then force me to undergo additional pain and inconvenience elsewhere for the ablation. It felt like he was prioritizing his billing opportunities over my well-being. Despite my willingness to proceed and having rearranged my work schedule getting one week off for recovery, he abruptly canceled, showing zero empathy for the inconvenience and distress caused. To add insult to injury, I later discovered from my insurance company that his office had never sought authorization for the procedure. This raises serious concerns about the intent behind having me sign for a procedure that wasn't adequately explained or cleared with insurance. The entire interaction felt shady and unprofessional, leaving me questioning his motives and ethics. Dr. Cintron appeared more interested in billing than in my well-being. His demeanor, which included stuttering and evasive responses, only fueled my unease. I'm grateful I trusted my instincts and avoided what could have been a risky situation. I strongly advise against seeking care from Dr. Lopez Cintron. A doctor should prioritize patient care and transparency, neither of which I experienced in this office. Patients deserve better.
