I would not recommend MBE based on my experience. We provided all required tax documents by March. And On 3/22/25, Ryan explicitly told us: "I believe we have everything to complete the return. We will get it finished before you leave." Despite that assurance, our taxes were not filed on time, and communication was extremely poor. After nearly three weeks of silence, we were contacted on 4/12/25 and told there was an issue with a $1,500 IRA contribution. Ryan incorrectly stated it was a Roth IRA contribution when it was, in fact, a traditional IRA rollover -- something later confirmed directly with Fidelity. Because we were already out of the country, which was relayed to Ryan, this delay pushed everything back further. We ultimately didn't receive a valid filing link until 5/6/25, and our return was accepted by the IRS on 5/8/25, well after the deadline -- despite having submitted everything early and receiving written confirmation that the return would be completed on time. The consequences have been significant. We were expecting a sizeable refund, which we were relying on. To date, the IRS is still reviewing the return, and we have received no resolution. Charging the full $895 fee under these circumstances feels unreasonable given the missed deadline, lack of communication, and basic misunderstanding of investment classifications. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. If you value timely filing, clear communication, and technical accuracy, I would think twice before trusting MBE.

Overall the experience was positive. We did a refi with them and they secured us a spectacular…read morerate. We have good credit, so its we take some of the credit there but overall the process was smooth. We have done this before and Fairway was no better or worse than other companies we have worked with. On major positive, we had an account representative who answered every question quickly and thoroughly. The downside was two fold. First within 10 days of executing the loan agreement the loan was sold to another company. Not the end of the world of course but I got contacted by customer service at Fairway. Standard mail stating they were there to help me etc, I asked that person a question directly, they didn't answer it. The account rep who handled the sale did. Okay. I ask the customer service person another question, no reply. Finally I contact them one last time on item 2 (below) and get a short "your loan was sold we no longer service it" reply. Bad form. Second, I am now receiving literally an email a day on life insurance, home insurance, home security systems and other home product offerings. The back story is prior I worked hard to get my name off of junk emails etc, I had a CC hacked in the past and spend a lot of time working on cleaning it up and protecting my identity. This transaction is the only thing that has changed recently and now I have this new circumstance. I contact Fairway they will admit to nothing. Normally if you are not on don't call lists or other do not contact lists you only get these solicitations when your information has been sold or otherwise obtained. I verified through the privacy disclosure that they in fact do share personal information for marketing purposes and to their affiliates which includes your SS#. In the disclosure it states "Federal law gives you the right to limit only ƒ sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes -- information about your creditworthiness ƒ affiliates from using your information to market to you ƒ sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing." Note the last line "individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing" Fairway does not appear to be one of those companies and has undone for me a lot of work. For this reason I would not recommend you use this company. If you have been a victim of any kind of identity theft, beware. Unless of course this is all coincidence that somehow the effort I put in to protect myself from having my data transferred and marketed has suddenly come to an end date. I don't believe it personally, but I cant say absolutely either way other than circumstantially the evidence is overwhelming. Caveat emptor
