This is an office that is very professional while still remaining personable. I spoke to the staff when I needed to make the appointment for my dog to put him down and I vented on the phone and they listened even if they probably didn't need to (thank you for that btw). And gave us as much time as needed in the process. The office is very clean and well kept. They keep it honest and tell you everything up front. Our family cannot thank this office enough for doing what they did for us and being so gentle and kind in our process of losing our sweet boy. Thank you to the office staff and doctors. My 14 yr old Taco got ill and it was on and off for a few months, what got me was that the morning after Thanksgiving in 2025, my poor little companion slept with me her final night. I woke up in the morning holding her in my arms all night, and when I woke she had a stroke. She was my angel and for 14byrs she has never left my side and has been with me through some of the major health issues I survived. Well the morning of, I called aeound to try and have her put to sleep at home, but there was no way it was possible. When I took her in, I felt extremely rushed and when my friend was holding my precious little Taco and I asked him to keep her as I used the restroom, well I get back and freak out because he didn't have her and the tech came is and I snapped who gave you permission to take her, then the tech screamed to me that she needed no ones permission, and i snapped back and told her to hand me my cat. She had some nerve to stand there holding my precious dying Taco and scream back. Very unprofessional. I am a grieving cat daddy and if they think we should be calm, and not upset, they are mistaking. We are the clients and grieving parents, they should learn to be professional at all times no matter what. Then on top of it all, what we were charged for her cremation was well above average we paid. They seem to not have compassion for grieving pet parents. I was distraught and barely could walk out of the building because her loss was my loss and my heart being ripped out if my chest. The doctor did not call me in a timely manner after getting back from vacation, nor did they call me as soon as the ashes came in, I had to call and ask if they came in and the young lady had no answer when I asked how long she has been there. One, I never had and Cat Doctor take my cats out of my site when preparing to put one of my felines to sleep, also I have never had anyone rush me out after my felines have past like I experienced here. I have another cat and stopped taking him through after this and Looking for a new place that only works with our feline friends. It seemed that Park Veterinary Hospital is good with taking carw of our pets when healthy, but lousy and uncaring of us pet parents when it's time to say goodbye to our companions. It alao swwms that they charge more in a time od crisis above what others charge. I won't lie, the saff and Doctor B were wonderwhen we'd go in for visits, but are not as warm when we need to say goodbye. It3a shame that we had to stop going because of this incident, they need to realize how we are going through such an emotional time, that they should be more reassuring and comforting during our pets transioning. It's especially more inportant to have a more cairing heart during the holidays. Also, I am used to evey cat doctor I've had for 25 years, never do anything like take our friends from us a should offer the option to put the IV in, in front of us or not. I've been though this process four times in 26 years and this was the most terrible way I had to let my precious Taco cross over after pampering her for 14 yrs. I hope the owner reads this and perhaps tweak their policy a bit. The week she spent in the hoapital I was discouraged on visiting her but, my friwnd talked to them and i went in and it looked like she was about to die then, but instead she made some improvement and was able to come home for her final days. I saw the improvement in her eyes and I hope they don't dicourage any other prt Parents from visiting if our loved ones are in there. If people in hospitals brighten up with a visit, then our pets ti do because we are their caregivers and soul reliant person in their lives. I didn't care abiut the 6k for 5 days in there, but i do care about the high price it was when we had to put her asleep to send her in her way with such heartlessness snd cold attitudes that day. I was surprised that Doctor B didn't offer us a compensation after that horrible day. That's what I woukd have doneif my clients had such a bad experience like I did.
