This review is not for the building or security but for the records office where you can get your birth certificate. I went in and a lovely lady assisted me. She was polite and friendly, advised me of the process and so I completed it. After I took everything back up to her, she advised me it would be a quick wait and to have a seat. At the time, I was on disability due to a previous TORN MCL injury, so I could not stand long. Mind you, I even had a minor limp. I was told I could have a seat by the nice representative processing my request. As soon as a I sat down, some guy who was not even ASSISTING me that was behind the glass, told me I needed to stand up and wait for my turn? Despite me already being assisted but everyone else was sitting? Just because one had a child and another was elderly.... why couldn't I sit down? I felt this rep needs a refresher in disability rights and to learn how not to discriminate. Not ALL disabilities can be seen by the naked eye. I am not the type to argue especially in a government/city building so I stood up and when the lady noticed this, she quickly tried to process my request to get me in and out. After a few minutes, I sat back down because of the pain I was feeling in my knee. The man, however, needs an attitude check and a reminder by HR to leave your problems at the door when clocking in to work. If the process is to not sit (which doesn't make sense.... not everyone can stand for long periods to fill out forms oR at the computer) then you should be mindful of that. Have some signs up maybe if that's the policy !

Today I had someone hope into my backyard they beat me up I called 4 times 1 time guy hung up second girl hung up on me as well thankfully Cathy stayed on the phone with me. By the way by face is battered cops paid no consideration actually tried to turn me into a suspect because they had injuries as well. By the way it was an hour until they arrived I would be dead!! Another negative experience at the Coy garage. I'm not sure if there is something shady going on…read morehere but the attendants of this garage refuse to accept validated tickets. Both times I have needed to park here, I parked for less than 45 minutes. Both of these times, my tickets were validated by the court house. When I exited the garage, they still charged me and would not accept the validation. Although the charge was only $2, it was still annoying and inconvenient, especially when I was expecting now to pay.

We all know that no one really wants to serve jury duty but it's part of our civil duty. I have to…read moresay that the whole process was pretty painless. Security and the staff up on the 12th floor have their process down and it made it easy to swiftly go through. There is a cafe on the 1st floor. I had an egg and ham burrito - it was ok but there are fresh bagels and a variety of other breakfast items which is convenient. I was allowed to bring in my own water and energy drink.
