Right from day two they proved to be incompetent and uncaring. The " wound specialist " showed up one day and told us she had no sauve to treat the wound she would be back tomorrow. We never heard from her again. They had an aid who came out twice and did nothing but work on her laptop . She did not do one thing to make our loved one comfortable. The meds she needed were ordered late and the health care kit showed up weeks later. When I switched Hospices providers they refused to coordinate the switching of equipment with the new provider even though they told us they talked to the new agency. If you truly care about the comfort and safety of your love one , please do not consider Home Health & Hospice Care out of Merrimack NH . You and your love one will be very disappointed.

Personally, I have experienced home health care for over 2 years now. Starting off with another agency I quickly learned that my purpose to help people could not be fulfilled with them and boy am I happy about that! Comparing the 2 agencies is like night and day. Not giving up on pursuing my career, I interviewed with VA and I have proudly served with them since September of 2020. I can't emphasize enough on how hard the office staff works day in and day out, to match us with the best fitting clients to care for on a daily basis. They strive to be the best and it shows with our leadership team leading caregivers to do everything we need to do, to the best of our ability, to provide the best care in our industry!!! My experience and time with VA I have had opportunities to grow and learn. It's like clock work. Continuously providing the best on going training, always involved in every single clients care plan, and always making sure we as caregivers are personally in a good place to care for them with 100% integrity and the right heart to do the right job. I'm beyond grateful for them giving me an opportunity to grow and become better at my position on a daily basis rather than just looking at me like a sales call. They say they care about the family but don't show it. My brother had been on hospice for…read more11 months and had the same nurse for at least 10 months. He passed away 2 wks ago and we did not hear from her for 10 days. Then she has the balls to send a card with other people that we have no idea who the hell they are. What is wrong with these people, they should not be in this business. She would come in for a visit that lasted maybe 10 mins and when asked how things were it was always the same, " no change". She never involved "the family" in the care plan, didnt even speak to anyone else in the home but me, and i would have to ask. If they had reached out to us in the days of his passing maybe we would feel differently, but nothing, not a peep for 10 days and the only reason she called was for paperwork to be signed. They can wait for it!!! And they are getting no donation......Sorry, this just really hurt

Brightstar is the master at bait and switch. They'll say they'll do all these things my parents…read more need help with. then when their people get in there they won't do this and that won't do that. All the things they promised they would. Then they have no problem calling in at the last minute and telling my elderly parents that no one is coming to help on a particular night. Leaving my mother to spend the night in her wheelchair.
