Took the grandkid (and the adult kids) to Shepherd's Cross this weekend for the first time…read more Overall, a great experience. Super nice people, plenty of activities for the wee ones and a nice relaxing atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. It wasn't super crowded, which was a plus, despite being there midday on a Saturday. Plenty of stuff to see and do, with very informative displays in the barn. I plan on looking into the non-seasonal offerings they have, as their work goes to supporting several missions and I'm all about that. A bit of a drive from Owasso, but not too long and it was a great way to spend some time together as a family.

Their museum upstairs was interesting and informative. There was a lot to look at and learn. The grounds and buildings were in good shape and the sheep roaming freely on the property were a delight to look at. For you knitters and crocheters out there, you can buy a skein of wool that was shorn from one of the sheep on property. I visited Shepherd's Cross the week before the shearing of the sheep was going to take place. Certain times of the year they offer various classes. Inquire with staff for upcoming events. All-in-all, it was a fun, relaxing visit and time seemed to stand still for awhile.
