SENT THIS TO WALGREENS CORPORATE I never take the time out of my hectic life as a single mom of 3…read moreto write an email such as this, but I was so appalled at the treatment I received at the Walgreens Pharmacy at 1808 University Ave in Oxford MS, that I felt compelled to write. My hope is that no customer should ever be treated in such a manner. Ever. When my son sophomore at the University of Mississippi broke his hand and required immediate surgery I took off time from my job as a teacher in the Baltimore County schools and booked the soonest flight. An expense which is huge burden for our family. He was in tremendous pain and required immediate medications. The lines were long, which I understood, I handed in his prescriptions. I returned back 90 minutes later after and waited on yet another line and was told " I sat down in the pharmacy area and called Cigna, thankfully the insurance representative was kind, helpful and patient. Cigna saw on their end that the mistake and long delay was indeed with the pharmacy since they were entering MY name and not my son's. Mistakes happen. I understand that. But the attitude from and then the pharmacist was unjust and extremely unprofessional. She purposely made me wait on the line again, and then again. Each time I was confronted with eye rolls and words I wish not to repeat. I am writing this in my hope that no one. . . EVER. . . is laughed at, ridiculed and embarrassed. I was simply seeking essential medical care for my son. I am advocating not only for myself, but for all Walgreen's customers who may face similar treatment at this location in the future. I hope they never have to endure what I did today. It is a terrible reflection on your company. I would appreciate a response.

I have used Walgreens since I…read morewas a child and have recently been in a car accident which requires me to routinely get medications. I had used the app (as I always do) to pick up my antidepressant on Feb. 9th. I continued to check and the order stated stating it had been received. I attempted to call, no answer. I called again a few days later, was put on hold and the ended. Today, I finally got to speak to hands down, the most inconsiderate employee I have ever encountered when working with any business. I obviously called regarding my prescription pending. The employee immediately stated "you have no prescription here and you have never picked up from here." I explained that I had it on my app, I verified the correct address with him, and also provided the RX # for my ANTIDEPRESSANT that was supposed to be ready on Feb 9th (see image below). He looked up the RX, verified the prescription and stated it was not at his store. I then asked for the store it states that it is at so I could call them and he said he does not know which store it is at that it only gives the store number. He only knew what his store number was. There's no way of looking that up? He said no. I work in customer service, I work in management, I have to handle phone calls daily. I understand that sometimes complex situations occur (my app is showing your location and you are seeing different). However, being that I obviously NEED this medication, he could not give me any assistance? I know he could, because I called the location on Canada road and they will have the prescription ready in an hour. Now I will drive 30 minutes to get my prescription because this man at Union could not assist me. What a joke.
