There is a person who, according to his voicemail, interviews for positions all morning. Sounds…read morepretty efficient right? Wrong!!! I do not know why they have this dept. Who is getting placed? You have to do everything but give an organ to be reachable, then months and months go by and you don't hear back from them. It's quite misleading and sad. There are so many people who want to get their foot in the door. I suggest you apply for the many career positions posted. It works a lot faster and they get you up and working fast. I do not understand why there is TES when so many people on campus, Glassdoor, LinkedIn and here are not even offered a part time position. Update: Getting placed was the easy part. Staying in the program is hard. They will do everything to remind you how lucky you are to be given the opportunity. You may get a placement you enjoy or one you hate and you have to take it. Do not fall for the "Does this sound like something you would be interested in?" Because if you do not accept any placement, they will remove you. Also, be very careful once placed. Some departments will treat you like trash because they can call and get someone different the next day and they know that TES will support the department not the floater so be careful. Even if you document everything, they will side with the employer. It's stressful, but it's how the program works.

The website might work one day a week- you might get a nanny - you might get a mental breakdown- roll the dice and call the Sassy Nanny! *Edited in response to below: As a parent, being able to hire a caregiver quickly if something comes up unexpectedly is important and unfortunately the below response by the business owner is simply not accurate. It took several weeks for me to get a meeting with a potential caregiver from this agency despite clearly communicating a timeline that I needed help by July 5th. As stated above, this was a nightmare experience. Apparently nanny scams are quite common and a reputable agency can often find a solution in hours. I hate to share a poor experience but I hope this helps other parents avoid being in this situation. I can't recommend this agency at all.
