As far as we're concerned, she's an expert on her field. So when we moved out here, we were hoping we can find someone with almost the same mastery, skills and competence although we understand that individuals will have different personal experiences. Suffice it to say that we all have different experiences when it comes to receiving services from these professionals. However, I have been going to acupuncturist since I was young so I am well versed with it. I can tell if the acupuncturist is an experienced one and who knows what he or she is doing or not. So when I went to an acupuncturist located in Linglestown, I feel like I was a human pin cushion and looked like a poor copy of a porcupine. I can feel the needle pain because the way it is placed on is only skin deep as opposed to placing it into the pressure points. However, I'm always a forever optimistic so I gave the acupuncturist a couple more tries, 5 times to be exact because I paid for a plan which was 5 + 1 free. I decided to ditch the last session and looked for another provider. I found Dr. Lee and she's amazing. She expertly placed needles into the pressure point. I don't feel the needle pain and she knows exactly where the areas that are connected where pain is emanating from. After the session, I felt a slight relief from the pain. From experience, my shoulder pain will take a couple of sessions before the pain is managed and in my case, I was out of acupuncture therapy for more than a year so it's like going on a reset. So on my second session, my pain has gone down a little further. Her office clinic is pretty simple, clean and well organized. There are two rooms for therapy. The larger room can accommodate for individuals who use wheelchair or walkers. The session usually takes about 40 minutes to an hour. She takes in insurance but you need to check out what insurance providers are accepted. In your first visit, you pay for the initial assessment and an acupuncture treatment. Make sure you wear loose clothes so she can easily access pressure point areas that needed to be treated. She pays close attention to where you indicate the pain is and she would also make sure that areas connected to it are also covered. There is enough parking so you don't have to worry about fighting for a parking spot. I highly recommend Dr. Lee. She doesn't need to give away any promotional and marketing materials to indicate that she's pretty good in her chosen profession.

During the current Covid pandemic, patient safety is obviously a high priority as well, with a quick phone interview asking relevant questions, and a temperature checks at your car before you enter the building. All the hygienists we've seen are very friendly and courteous, answering any questions you have. They're also great with kids, as our daughter has gone for the past 4 years and loves it. Having a toddler eager to go to the dentist is not an experience I've heard from others very often, but ours is, which is a testament to their care. One other review mentioned that Dr. Anderton has turned into a greedy businesswoman, due to her not taking the insurance anymore (I assume it's the Penn State dental insurance). I know a little about the situation, and it's definitely not her fault. The issue, as I understand it, is that the insurance changed to require dentists to use some material for cavity fillings that tend to degrade, while Dr. Anderton insists on using high-quality fillings. That led to her not being accepted into the network. However, you can still be reimbursed from an HSA if you have one. In short, Dr. Anderton is the best dentist me, or my family, has ever had, and we'll be her happy patients for as long as we can.

It was not a single incidental touch, but continuous unnecessary physical contact on my arm or shoulder, which was highly unusual and felt invasive. A hygienist also used my chest as a resting surface for her instruments, dropping tools onto it repeatedly during cleaning. I found the experience physically uncomfortable and jarring. I continued going there for several years because, to their credit, they eventually noted my discomfort in my chart and the unwanted touching stopped. However, at my last appointment I was 7 minutes late because of an unexpected domestic issue that arose as I was leaving the house. I called ahead to let them know. When I arrived, I was told they could no longer see me as a patient because I was "always" late, which was simply untrue. I had often arrived on time and had also waited 20 to 30 minutes for the office when it was running behind, including one occasion when the wait was closer to 40 minutes. What felt especially unfair was that I was never given any warning about lateness policies before being abruptly dismissed from the practice after arriving for my appointment. There were no prior conversations, notices, or written warnings in their appointment communications. Being refused treatment and permanently dropped as a patient on the spot over being 7 minutes late was disproportionately harsh and humiliating. A basic courtesy conversation or warning beforehand would have made the situation feel far less unnecessarily severe. Overall, I found the practice disrespectful of personal boundaries and needlessly punishing toward me as a longtime patient.

Daniel Greenberg is amazing. He is a gifted acupuncturist and health counselor who has made a major difference in my life. I first went to him for help with migraine headaches. I had heard about him and his excellent reputation around town--both among patients and healthcare providers. His treatments have been of immeasurable help. Over the years, as other health issues have developed, he has proven himself equal to every problem I've had. In one situation, I had intestinal problems for several months. My other doctors ran every possible test, but nothing showed up as an explanation. I went to Daniel, and he was able to fix the problem with acupuncture and nutritional counseling. I am well now and so appreciative. He is gentle and kind, and it is very comfortable and comforting to be under his care. Daniel is a wonderful acupuncturist that has helped to cure me of chronic neck and back pain. When I started going to Community Acupuncture Centre about 1.5 years ago, I couldn't carry a laundry basket, walk a short distance, or manage personal care without sharp pains and muscle spasms. Now I feel wonderful and go once a week or so for a quick tune up. He spends quality time listening to me and genuinely cares about seeing me get better.
