We also got the mussels to try. The mussels were ok. The burger was exceptional. Probably close to the best burger I've ever had. Maybe the actual best burger I've ever had. It was just so good. The French know how to do beef when it's ground fresh to order for tartares. My guess is I got a burger straight from the grinder to the grill. This made all the difference in texture, flavor, tenderness, everything. It was a burger that has made it permanently difficult to go back to burger joints here in the US. It really was that good. I could keep going. But. Seriously. It was so freaking good. So go there and have a burger and the raclette in my honor.
