The menue has some daily dishes and a variety of grilled fish and meat. All very reasonably priced. The portions are big, the ingrediences fresh and carefully prepared. I had fish and though it was minimaly seasoned the grilling taste was amazing. The homemade leite creme dessert was actually one of the best of that kind that I ever had in Portugal.

Miniscule wine serving followed by charge for a second glass. Sirloin steak bathing in butter sauce. Lamb chops salted to point of being inedible. Wife developed food poisoning for two days -- probably from unasked for carpaccio --leading to curtailment of our vacation in Algarve. Huge scene when our 17-year-old waiter and 20 year-old manager would not adjust the bill. The Head bartender came over, made adjustments, then made sure he pressed all the buttons on the credit card machine to assure the bill was paid in US dollars, not euros, thereby increasing the amount of the bill by 5%. Overall, the single worst, but thankfully only bad experience we had in Portugal. Stay away! !
