My AC unit went down and they dispatched a junior technician to my residence who was friendly but unfortunately did not know what he was doing. He had to call in a senior tech for help, and together they misdiagnosed the problem, claiming I needed a $750 replacement part. I found out three days later when they sent a third tech to install it that it wasn't even needed at all. The issue was just a simple wiring problem. In other words, the original diagnosis was completely wrong -- and yet GS Mechanical still expected me to pay for both visits, including the one where they got it entirely wrong. (And they cast themselves as "budget-friendly" on their website - false advertising!) A competent company should stand behind their work and their technicians. Instead, I was met with deflection and silence. I tried to discuss the issue respectfully with the owner George, but he refused to take my calls, instead sending me text messages with vague promises to follow up, which of course he never did. This company lacks professionalism, integrity, and accountability. I urge anyone considering them for HVAC work to look elsewhere.

Hutchinson tried to upsell me to a whole new AC system, several smaller guys (and RAYNOR) just ignored my calls- when I finally made contact with a local guy they never showed up to quote. Breathe EZ was top notch in all areas...came right out, agreed to do a new blower motor ($1200 less than the quote from Breather EZ). They showed right up the next day and did an excellent job./ 2 gentlemen worked hard, explained exactly what they had done....even went out to purchase a part left out from the manufacturer box for the motor. Skilled polite men, Kyle and John, worked hard and had heat in my house in about 2 hrs. By the next AM I was toasty warm....after week of 40 degrees inside temps. I will close by saying these guys from Breathe EZ were pros who got the job done quickly and right. My quote from a big time competitor (Hutch) was $1260 (plus a $400 expedite charge to get it done quickly!!!!) and EZ did it for 445.00 parts and labor!! ( no expedite charges) I would say be careful if you need any HVAC... I would strongly recommend Breather EZ as they far exceeded the others in getting me (an old guy!) back to a warm house in frigid temps!! There is no logical reason to choose anyone else if you find yourself in this situation......unless you are a Penguin or Mr Freeze from Batman !!! 5 Stars all across the board!!! Denny Hannigan

The old unit served us well and ran way past it's prime. We now needed a new unit and a company we trusted to install and stand behind it as it began it's cooling service. We called several companies for quotes on a replacement unit and Leadbeaters Plumbing & HVAC was by far the top company as far as replacement costs and warranties (parts and labor) go.
