The room has a microwave, coffee maker, if you're into that, and hangers for clothes. There is a nice desk space and a TV where you can connect to your external apps. The bathroom also has a blow dryer if needed. I was on the first floor, and very close to the icemaker, which is a huge plus for me. The fitness center is ridiculously small, therefore I did not use it because it was always very busy. They do have a water station in the fitness room, so I did go in there to fill up my water several times. The indoor pool looked nice, but I did not have time to enjoy it. They have a little convenient store at the lobby if you need snacks or necessities. All of the staff were very friendly while I was there. The complementary breakfast buffet was delicious, and I like that they changed out the protein. I ate scrambled eggs and bacon, with a waffle, one day, and the same with chicken sausage the next. They also had pork sausage patties, various bread selections, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, And cereal. I love a good free breakfast! The only downside to my experience was the shower in my room, it had mold on the floor and on either side of the door.

The staff was very helpful with getting me my laundry supplies at the front desk, plus quarters for the machines. Excellent customer service here! Exceptional service…read more Due to the crazy winter storms in Virginia, a lot of families have been out of power for almost 4 days now and freezing inside their homes. Unfortunately, a friend of mine is one of those many families (it's currently below 40° in their home, with temps expected to drop to 14° tomorrow) ... and to top it off, she's fighting the flu while freezing. I was able to book a room for her family (her, her hubby, mother, and cat) to get them out of the freezing temps. I called to verify there wouldn't be any hang ups with the reservation since I would be booking using the app, and wouldn't be there in person to provide my card. Sonya helped me out, and updated my reservation to avoid any issues. Additionally, she's allowing them to check in immediately (vice waiting for the usual 3 pm check-in time) so they can get out of the cold! Absolutely amazing. I honestly love when strangers pull together during difficult times to watch out for each other. Thank you Sonya, for providing exceptional, caring service. Sonya- you are the REAL MVP. After already paying, I was then pressured at my door to hand over cash on the spot. It felt completely unprofessional and honestly sketchy. The condition of the hotel itself is unacceptable. The entire place smelled terrible, and the room was filthy. There was visible mold, roaches in the bedding (yes, in the bed), and multiple outlets didn't even work. The TV was outdated and barely functional. It gets worse--they refused to issue a refund and then attempted to charge my card multiple times (8 attempts) for $168.88. That's beyond bad service that's borderline fraud. The overall environment felt rough and uncomfortable, not somewhere you'd feel safe staying, especially at night. Avoid this place at all costs. There are way better options nearby that won't put you through this kind of experience.
