We had the Home warranty required repair company address our system three separate times. I was…read moreready to replace an 8 year old unit because it just stayed problematic. The truth is my system is fine we just needed the quality and honesty of JUST RIGHT. Here are the technicians notes: 11/27/23....there were a few issues with the system starting with it was almost out of Freon. Started leak checking and found a substantial leak at the liquid line inside at piston connection. Tightened the connection and stopped that leak. Outside at the condensing unit....all three service ports were leaking and they just needed Shrader valves tightened and real service caps put on. Put brass caps with o-rings on and stop those leaks. Noticed when l first got here there was ice built up around the bottom of the condensing unit as if it doesn't complete a defrost period fully. There is a defrost temp probe attached to the inside of the condensing unit that was mounted in the wrong place on the coil. Could tell it has been replaced before just wasn't put in the right place. I did mount it in its proper location. Inspected evaporator coil and found it very dirty as if the system had run without a filter for some time and collected debris. Washed it clean with coil cleaner and water. Charged system with 5 lbs of R410a refrigerant.....after checking the system in cooling and heating it's working very well now. I don't believe there is any reason to replace this system. It just needed someone to locate these leaks .....clean it up and do a thorough tune-up on it.....l mean....it's only 8 years old. The leak inside the evaporator coil was so obvious that l find it hard to believe anyone has ever looked for a leak. I will stop paying for a worthless home warranty and give this technician a healthy tip for his great work.

I was told by the receptionist that they would be there by 1:00 p.m. I ask it someone could call me if they could not make that time. She assured me either the service rep or the office would call. By 3:00 with no service or call I called the office again to be told the service rep tried to call, I had my cell phone with me all day while I waited, no call. The office lady was very apologetic and polite, but after waiting 8hr. with no call from the company I cancelled the appointment. This company may be I best at working on homes, but leaving someone waiting 8hr. with no outreach from them is rude and unexceptable.

I never review anything, but this was the worst customer service experience I've had in my life so…read morefar. They schedule an appointment for Thursday 4/9 from 12pm - 5pm. They then text me the day of at 8:35am to tell me they rescheduled me THE DAY OF 4/9 to 8:15am - 1pm. I've added the photo of the text as reference. The technician arrives at my home shortly after. I tell them I can drive there in 20 minutes if he can wait. "That's not possible. We will have to reschedule you to next Tuesday." Then the customer service person tries to tell me that it's my fault that nobody is at my house. My wife and mother-in-law were at my home. We have a Ring camera doorbell and a dog that barks anytime the dooorbell is rang or is knocked on. They never knocked or rang the doorbell. Absolutely ridiculous.

Since Dec 9,2025 we have been without heat despite's enduring sub freezing temps due to the I…read moreability of Myers Comfort Specialist to repair our HVAC. Today is Feb 11.2026. We have experienced terrible response time, terrible service, no communication, and multiple excuses over several weeks. American Home Shield will not let us use a different HVAC company since the contract is open with Myers. Multiple Myers techs have been unable to repair the problem. Myers added an unneeded part to that costs hundreds of dollars and is not covered under warranty. This part was never a piece of the HVAC that worked correctly for over ten years. It was added by the tech when he said he was adding everything possible since he couldn't figure out the problem. His words. We have filed a complaint with the BBB, with AHS, and will regrettably need to pursue legal action at this point. We have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter but Myers leadership couldn't seem to care less. This has been the worst customer experience of our lives. I would not recommend using this company to anyone.
