starting off the bat the environment is clean, spacious, and great music! i was nervous coming here at first since im a no sabo gal. sometimes its kinda stressful trying to get your spanish correct before entering a restaurant . anyways, really nice and welcoming waiter who speaks english helped me. the menu is also in english and spanish. only thing i didn't like was there were no prices on the menu i'm really bad with the drink names but i ordered a maracuyá agua fresca (i think that's what it was i know it was definitely a passion fruit drink). SOOO refreshing and not too sweet, not bitter. I ordered the Plátano Frito with 2 Huevos and 2 Pupusas (one with cheese and jalapeño and one with just cheese) Eggs were cooked perfectly (over easy) Pupusas were amazing Overall, idk why there aren't more reviews for this restaurant, i would recommend this place to anyone read more

I ordered on a whim, wanting to try something new. Def have mixed feelings about this place. Anybody that knows me, knows I get regular taco cravings lol To start of with the good. The pupusa was amazing and had a nice string of cheese with I was dipping it in the salsa. The salsa def tasted homemade and very fresh. The tacos while not the best, the tortilla was def puffy and tasted like it's made on site and very fresh. The other thing, I don't recall what it was, but was really good. It tasted like some very good corn muffins and the back end has kinda a plantain flavor which is a bit weird, but I love plantains, so my taste buds were happy. Also, despite it being a El Salvadoran restaurant that tastes authentic (never been to El Salvador, but from places I've tried, this seems authentic), everyone also spoke really good English which was def a surprise. Now the bad? Seemed they were out of 1/3 if their menu for some reason or another. The least they could have done is Mark it somewhere if what they were out of to make it easier for the customers. Also, the meat in the tacos were a bit on the bland side. They also didn't include a fork in the to-go order, which would have been nice since I eat in my car while working, and the problem with fresh tortillas that are still warm. They fall apart fairly easily. So, yes, I did like their food and staff was very friendly, and the prices were pretty good, but the few things mentioned here is why I removed a star. I wish I could try their empanadas with plantains, but that is among the stuff they were out of. read more

Food is super delicious and not that expensive! This gem has been hiding in a place that has been over looked I guess. I'm shocked no one has test Yelped about this place. I walked in and the host/server asked if it was dine in or takeout. I said take out and offered me a menu and a table to have a seat until I knew what I wanted and he would return. I'm like wow ok a seat, made me feel comfortable. I would have stayed but ordered food for Family and friends so I could not dine in. I began to order the food and as I did he was patient and told me what every item I got had in it just in case there was something I didn't want. Not sure what times or hours they are open as I didn't see a time anywhere but I am sure I will be back soon. But before I leave this review let me just say that they also have Apple Pay / Tap as well. I got the Asada Torta which was so delicious and filled with flavor! 4 Asada Tacos made with real corn tortillas so has the entire homemade flavor! 2 Chicken Tamales (Salavadoreños) which had Chicken, Potatoes and Hominy Corn super good! 2 Gorditas of Asada with all the toppings and let me say I wanted more! I love this place! It's nice and clean inside many televisions sets so very homey. They have a wide menu that's both in English and Spanish. I really like all the traditional Salvadoran drinks they offer. The papusas are large and very much filled not to much masa. My favorite ones are the ones with jalepeños and queso. I do VERY MUCH suggest if you want take out call ahead because they make all the papusas by hand which can take a while waiting for the food and yes expect that if you decide to eat inside as well. It's totally worth the wait I promise!! Don't worry it's a bilingual place so don't feel like you can't support because you don't speak Spanish. They are closed on Wednesdays so keep that in mind. I've been to this place several times. The food is always very fresh. The tacos are delicious and their homemade hot sauce is amazing. I highly recommend trying this place. Excellent papusa's. Had the pork also the bean and cheese. Put the slaw on top with a bit of their salsa. Best papusa I have had.
