Internet service went out. Called customer support and went through all the trouble shooting, still not working. Was told it would be 7 days before a tech could come. I explained we home school our child and would have to get other service if it would take a week to get someone out. I was told that was fine if that is what I want to do. read more

Last week had the Comcast service line in front of our house drop down to only about 4 feet above the road. I called the 1-800 number. Customer service person was in the Philippines. He was polite, but I wanted to speak to someone locally. The height of the line caused a safety issue. I tried calling the local office, Meridian, MS, number no longer working. Looked online and in the phone book no number shown would work. The call center in the Philippines scheduled a maintenance visit the next day. Was told earliest possible response possible. I live in a gated community, security got our maintenance personnel to tie "CAUTION" tape on the line to increase visibility and used a couple of Orange barrels to block traffic. Next day Comcast maintenance arrived while we were gone. We we returned, we found the line back at the proper height, but the six 4 foot long pieces of CAUTION tape were still attached; waving along the line now ten feet above the road!!!! Comment: Customer service for this problem was terrible from start to finish! This huge corporation has lost sight of timely response and pride in doing a job right! read more

I am not sure about the Comcast Service Center in Meridian but by FARRRR!!!! Comcast/Xfinity as a whole has to be the worst company that i have ever had the pleasure of wishing i did not have to deal with. I purchase service for my mother, she watches the news and plays spades/hearts on her laptop. yet the lowest plan possible has all this crap that is not needed, sports, digital this/that. GTFOH. I can imagine why others comments are not displayed. If they didn't have a small monopoly for my mothers area of town I would drop Xfinity like turds into a toilet. read more
