"Remember that the most valuable antiques are dear old friends."―H.Jackson Brown, Jr…read more We visited quite a few antique stores while visiting Lancaster County (a.k.a Amish Country). Not necessarily looking for anything in particular, but more out of curiosity. This was easily our favorite store out of the bunch. They had that typical Antique Mall setup, in which there's thousands of items from dozens of dealers spread across three gigantic floors. But it wasn't so much the quantity here as it was the quality of the goods just seemed a cut-above the other stores we visited. Beyond the goods, the venue itself (a restored tabacco warehouse) is neat and oozing in history. Service from the Amish lady running the cash register was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if you're in the area to check them out for a fun few hours of poking around.

The shop is filled to the brim with all kinds of goodies, pretty much something for everyone, no matter what it is you collect. I happily placed my Ball jar up at the register along with an old bottle hubby was infatuated with to pay and had the chance to chat with the owners who were more than happy to tell us all about the town of Lititz and how there is always something cool going on. The only thing that seemed oddly out of place was the child behind the counter eating a plate of Spaghettios but I guess it just goes to show you that this truly is a family run business because they were all there. Can't wait to see what treasures I find on next year's visit.
