Everyone was very friendly and Explained throughly what was going on. When coming into the courthouse you are checked thru like the airport. I had a metal thermos with water in it and was allowed to take it because it only had water. So note that drinks are not allowed unless they are water only. We were prepared with a kindle to keep us occupied for the short amount of time we were there. Next time we go back will also pack some snacks.

I generate new labels from over the weekend on Monday, it takes all of 5 minutes for 20+ labels...no big deal. This has been a thing since I started using a Pitney Bowes machine when selling on eBay back in NJ in 2000. As a daily customer with multiple packages. Has anyone ever heard of a rule that says that you must mail a package with a prepaid label within…read more24 hours of printing the label? I mail a lot of things and have never heard of this until today. The postal worker in Portage was rude and chastised me for printing my label on Friday and bringing in the package on Monday to mail. It doesn't make any sense. I asked whether the stamp that he used on the package had the date on it and he said no. If this is a real thing, perhaps he could have explained it and not been so rude. I won't go to this facility again.
