Then telling me they don't notarize? What kind of bank doesn't provide notary services? Or they just didn't want to provide notary services to me because I'm not with their bank? My family has been banking for the past 20 years from personal to business needs. Like many banks, they are busy on the first week of each month but they try their best to minimize the line and help merchants or those who only needs to deposit by coming up with two separate lines: Deposit Line and Merchant Line. The Deposit Line is only there when a sign is posted on the far right window when walking in from the door. This is only limited to certain busy days. As for the Merchant Line, it is always available in the far left window when walking in from the door. [Services]: They can help you from: renting a safe box (check availability), opening a personal checking account, opening a business checking account, Life insurance, and SBA Loans (Ask for details). I think there are also currency exchange (unsure). Please ask for details on the services need, details subject to change since I opened my account. [Parking]: Plaza with spacious parking. They have parking space dedicated only for them. [Pros]: Small bank which makes it easier to be friendly with everyone. They speak Chinese, English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. [Cons]: I don't know yet. We found this Wells Fargo on Walnut Grove just a few minutes from the food court where we were heading. And it's in the same shopping center as Walmart. Funny, I have been a SGVer for the last 4+ decades and I have never shopped at Walmart out in SGV... maybe because I am normally out here to eat and shop for Asian stuff LOL. Anyway, this Wells Fargo has two ATMs for use. It doesn't look like a big bank from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. It was a very quick ATM visit indeed. Looks pretty clean outside. However, what caught my eyes were the two trash bins nearby adjacent to the bank. Not sure if the trash bins belong to the bank... I doubt it, but they were nicely covered so they don't appear to be trash bins. I'll be back to use this bank when on the south side of SGV. Yes, there is also a Wells Fargo on the north side that I use LOL. Gotta cover all compass of banks.

One star because the following Monday, when I went to retrieve the necklace, it was missing and not in Lost and Found where it had been placed late Friday. Sometime between Friday and Monday, the necklace took a walk. Thank you Lucy for placing it in the Lost and Found and acknowledging me as the owner and telling me that the necklace had been found. They are to be commended. Brian Vien is the branch manager and offered to check security cameras, now three weeks later still waiting for a status report in writing and/or the return of the necklace. Alas. I usually love the prompt and friendly service at this very busy branch...I'm a longtime client more than 30 years. It's disappointing the security cameras could not help facilitate the return of my necklace. You would think the bank would like to investigate and know definitively what happened to a unique necklace that apparently grew legs. I had to escalate the matter to the regional bank manager, who was hard to find...it's not an easy matter to register a complaint or a compliment online... but being a former newspaper and TV news reporter helped. I hope the bank will take more proactive investigative steps to address a client's request and concerns. And perhaps setup a timeline protocol for the handling/returning of lost items.

Unfortunately only after she left, she checked her accounts and discovered several of the requested transactions weren't completed, including the deposit of the check she had handed the clerk. She tried to call to no avail, called the main office and they were unable to reach anyone at the branch so my parents had to double back. Due to traffic, it took them 30 minutes. In that time, the banker has completely forgotten that my mom has been there prior, it's not a busy branch so somewhat odd she couldn't recall my parents, then she attempted to correct theissed transactions by depositing my dad's check to my mom into HIS account and handing my mom the deposit receipt with all his banking info on it. They were both very frustrated and concerned because this is not the quality of service one should receive when banking, let alone at a credit union. I've advised them not to return to this location because this is unacceptable!

Our bank teller was not the friendliest just meh. Oh well, sometimes we just don't know who we're going to get on the other side. As long as the transaction gets done, that's what matters. My wallet was stolen and that's exactly what they did. Someone walking into the bank, approached the teller and just like that, withdrew $$$$! That person had to look like me, the teller didn't bother looking...or they're in on it! I haven't walked into a bank. To withdraw money in over 20 years and it was that easy to hand over money!
