An elderly and significantly disabled person with extreme anxiety who was the target of anti-White…read morediscrimination by an employee at a store fell on their hands, knees, and face due to the store's failure to correct an obvious obstruction. No one helped the person up. The manager-on-duty never came to see the victim or take a report. The victim called the store from home to report the incident and was hung up on. They called bacl to again attempt to make a report, but a customer service rep refused to take a report or even make a note to save the relevant store surveillance tape. The victim took pics of the obstrucion and pics of the resulting injuries and legally recorded the hang-up and rude phone conversations. They aslo well as noted witness names. The actual store manager eventually confirmed they could find and preserve the survillance recordings of the fall and its aftermath. Elderly abuse. Disability abuse. Failure to attend to a fall victim on the floor. Failure to take a report X3. Overt discrimination. Pics of the obstruction violation. Pics of injuries. Recordings of phone calls of obvious disrespect and failure to comply with minimum standards of duty of care ... And what does the "intake specialist" at Merrigan say to the viictim: "No ambulance transport or doctor's report? It's all heresay. We won't be able to take this case." HEARSAY? Merrigan lawyers who care nothing about blatant discrimination, at-fault premises liability, victim abuse, well-documented post-incident pics and recorded phone conversations, failures to meet minimum standards of decency and accountability, witnesses, emotional stress liability and damages, and more should be called out for their ignorance, greed, parasitic conduct, and unethical behavior. Btw, ever wonder who "Sweeney" of "Sweeney Merrigan" is? It's Jonathan Sweeney, aka Pete Merrigan. Enough complaints/reports to the A.G.'s Office might be a good start to investigate this law firm.
