They never called us back. It's hard to find ppl to even show up in this area. They didn't want the money clearly.

Lambert Plumbing, Heat & Air

Lambert Plumbing, Heat & Air

Long post but bear with me, this is a warning for anyone needing HVAC services. I strongly…read morerecommend staying away from Lambert now that they have been bought out by AllTech. I will say that we truly loved the original Lambert, so much that we had a membership with them. However, we have now had two experiences under the new ownership and both have been completely awful. The first experience was in February. One of our units was making a loud noise so we had AllTech (Lambert) out to take a look at it. We were told we needed over $600 in repairs. We paid it under the impression it would fix the noise our unit was making. After he left I walked outside and it was still making the same noise. I called them back and asked for a different technician, he came and nothing they had replaced was even relevant to the issue. However, they made right by it and fixed it and ate the cost. Despite us paying slightly more than what we would have had they done it correctly the first time, we were satisfied as it was fixed and they were very apologetic. The next experience happened two days ago, they came out for the twice-a-year tune-up. We are having no issues with our units and there were no concerns. Keep in mind we are strict on our HVAC upkeep and we have not even lived in our house a year and no one has said anything about our units in the multiple tune-ups, inspections, etc. so I was expecting nothing other than the tune-up. The tech instead told me that both of our units have reached their lifespan (they are 12 years) and need repairs immediately and that the cost of repairs was over $17k, that was just for repairs, not for unit replacement. It felt extremely sales pitchy. I had a feeling this was not true as, again, our units are working fine, we have had no issues, and no one has said anything in the multiple inspections and tune-ups we have had. I posted the invoice and pictures of everything in an HVAC forum and every single person said the repairs were unnecessary and extremely overpriced. I also had another HVAC company come out yesterday morning to get a second opinion on the areas AllTech (Lambert) said needed work and they found absolutely nothing that warranted replacement or repairs. He said we could easily get another 3-5 years from our units with regular maintenance. Later that night I went to turn on my AC units (they hadn't been run since AllTech was here because it wasn't hot enough) and they would turn on but wouldn't blow air. I called out yet another HVAC company and they found that a wire on each unit had been left unplugged which was causing the units to turn on but not blow air and they both overheated. I do not believe it was the second HVAC company that did this as they had just come out to inspect the parts that AllTech (Lambert) had said needed to be replaced and they didn't even run the units or check outside. So not only does it seem like AllTech (Lambert) tried to sabotage our units but had I listened to AllTech (Lambert) and not trusted my gut, they would have scammed us out of over $17k for absolutely no reason. Someone from AllTech (Lambert) was supposed to call us to discuss everything but they never did. I even reached out to them and asked if they were still going to call us, they said yes, and still have not. Obviously, this is my experience and others may have had better, but I just wanted to warn others since this is a small town with few options.

We have had two separate issues with our air conditioner this year and on both of them I called…read moreLamberts heating and air and they fixed both problems quickly and for a good price! I highly recommend them!! Trent

I work overnight shifts, so having a cold house during the day is essential to getting any kind of restful sleep. He also charges what is fair for an honest day's work. No overcharging. During these precarious times, some may and will place profit over principle in the sheer attempt to fleece unsuspecting customers. Some, not all. Thankfully, I am blessed to inform you that Doug of "Dougs Heat & Air", is not that service provider! Qualified, humble, above reproach, and salt of earth, are just a few terms that I use to describe Doug. It was by happenstance, no divine intervention, that I was able to have met his acquaintance. Fam, you see, my HVAC was being disrespectful and only air was flowing through the vents, no AC With the current "Dante's Inferno" heatwave, my home was hot as fish grease! I prayed to God for help and reached out to two companies. Thankfully, Doug personally called me, came to my home, assessed the issue, and informed me of the cause of my HVAC concerns....the remains of dehydrated ants wedged in between the coils! I was surprised too! He also edified me on how to both irrigate the system and mitigate this from reoccurring. Fam, Doug could have told me that I needed a new system, etc, yet and thankfully so, he is a man of integrity. Brothers and sisters, if you and your family need honest HVAC, AC system repair/etc, PLEASE call Doug of "Dougs Heat & Air". Your wallet/jelly jar/ol' Crown Royal bag, and home will thank you! Stay hydrated! C. Hendo
