Same stone floors, vaulted ceilings, tiny bar area with friendly barkeepers, comfy booths and wooden tables w/iron bases. One of the best pub where I have ever been…read more Beer is really good and the price is normal. The best part is certainly the cuisine: every sandwich or burger is a masterpiece, in which every ingredient is balanced with the others. I can't suggest one over the others (I have tried everything) but lately I prefer the burgers instead of the sandwiches: they are bigger and more particular in the choice of the ingredients. I usually also take appetizers, "Bocconcini di patate e formaggio" are the best.

In many other bars, the happy hour is just some sandwiches and salads: that's not the case of the Slice. For 8 euros you get a drink and access to a gigantic buffet, with pizza, gnocchi, pasta, bread and nutella, fruit, fries and many other things; and you will never run out of food, since waiters keep replenish the buffet with new things. I strongly suggest to get there at 7-7:30 pm, especially if you are a large group, since the place is small and you might wait some time before getting a table.
