When jobs were scarce in California they looked to work a little more south and the border town of mexicali is where many settled. The Chinese food here is good, we grew up eating at thos place so I am biased. I am sure you can find great places everywhere. The red pork is specifically delicious. My mom and family love eating here when we visit. The staff is usually very friendly and most speak Spanish too which is always pretty cool. They always give you a lot so you definitely want to come here when you are hungry!!! I came to this shopping center while exploring Mexicali with the girlfriend. First off, what this mall is not... it is not Plaza Peninsula (TJ), Antara (Cdmx), nor Andares (Gdl). However, it is a place where you can shop for everyday items at stores such as Sears. There is quite a variety of food options, of which we decided on Subway. I know, not very adventurous of us as far as food for this mall, but most of the other options didn't really interest us. The service at most stores is pretty decent, especially in the bigger chain stores. But decent service can also be found in the mom and pops type of places (my girlfriend went to a hair salon here, and they were nice people). If you're looking for value, this may be a good place to go. Save for the parking, you have to pay for it. But the fare is not high at all. This is a decent mall, busy when we came here, and staffed by friendly people.
