So after phoning all the big names or some tyres and the prices being very uncompetitive and having…read morepushy salesman on the phones, I remembered this place i drive past regularly on South Rd. I phoned them at 8am and was back home, tyres fitted, 30 mins later. When I rang they informed but not pushy, I told the man exactly what I wanted and was given a price that was good. He didn't try and sell me anything else or extras which I liked. When I got there they were friendly and my car was taken straight away while I waited in the seated area. The job was done quickly as promised and I left pleased! This place was cheaper then the big boys, not by a lot of $$ but enough to make me go back there again!

I was promised by the Adept Tech that my TV would be fixed 'in 7 days'. The repair and required…read morepart were quickly identified by the Tech while I was in store - it was a common problem and easily fixed the Tech suggested to me. I left a $70 deposit that would go 'towards the TV's repair' and was told that I'd be called next week. Ten days later after no call I visited Adept for an update. I was told the part hadn't arrived yet but '[the part] should be there in a few days ["next week"] and the TV would be repaired after the parts arrival "next week". Adept said they would call when it was ready. Two weeks later, still with no TV and no call from Adept, I rang and was told the part was obsolete/unavailable and the TV could not be repaired. When I said I'll come to pick up the TV I was told that it was dismantled - in pieces - even though the part was obsolete and the Tech did not have to dismantle the TV to examine the TV to find the problem it was dismantled in pieces - so I'd have to wait a day. When I suggested the deposit would be returned to me Adept said that it would not be returned. Among the things that are not good in this situation are the little lies of Adept: to be told one week that the part was on its way then told the following week the part didn't exist, and also to be told that the $70 deposit [that was stated clearly to me to be 'toward repair'] would not be returned because of the time it took to [a] seek an obsolete part and [b] dismantle an unrepairable TV that didn't have parts available to fix it and did not need to be dismantled. This little true story suggests clearly that Adept is not the place to go for all your electronic needs and at best you should avoid Adept. It is not that the TV wasn't fixed - it IS that Adept deceived me along most steps of the way, avoided communicating with me about the TV and parts, and played the 'dismantle the TV that can't be fixed' game so that they could argue about having to "spend time" on my TV and keep the $70 deposit. Exit Adept and Enter Consumer and Business Services and possibly Minor Civil Actions Court - but that would be a whole new true story. Avoid Adept Electronic Services.

Also, they were life savers when they helped me install the battery in my van before a big road trip. This was definitely going above and beyond, so don't expect them to do this normally. Overall awesome shop and awesome staff. They had everything I needed, and the knowledge to match. They will even do soldering when needed. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

When I asked if they had tried to find one locally from another dealer she laughed and said it was un-likely. Did not even bother to check to see if a simple wheel bearing could have been sourced locally to prevent me inconvenienced further by having to come back again. Would not use this branch (east-side) again

Since 9am and I have been sitting in the customer lounge here and City Holden whilst waiting for my…read morepartners car to have completed a full third year service. The staff here are the friendly and smiley type, and whoever is hiring here likes their blonde women. They (the men behind the service desk) professionally went through all of the specific requirements of the current procedure (service). This includes all the basics as well as an inside and outside clean, which all together totals at a bit over three hundred dollars ($340)..... and now we wait. The facilities themselves are nice, new, spacious and located on Port Road. The members lounge where we are currently waiting is a fairly modernised design with a spiral metallic staircase situated somewhat in the centre of the room, and directly amidst a secretarial area. There is also views of the mechanical car yard and the sales cars. For further customer convenience there is free coffee available, a plasma television and various tables and chairs. No free WI-FI though, FYI. That's kind of lame. Now fast forwarding to the final verdict, the service took about an hour and half, which I get told is pretty normal. The results of the service seem pretty peachy, and although it is probably pricer than your average small guy Joe, when it comes to garage and car sales, City Mazda provides a pleasant and professional sort of experience. Super friendly.
