Despite coming to our home and taking room measurements, we could not get a quote from this contractor for months. The urine smell in the house was a daily nightmare, we just wanted this done! Frustrated, I found Ben's company online and sent him a message about needing a quote for the LVP install. To my surprise, he responded immediately and was able to come out within a couple of days to see the floors and take measurements. Better yet, he got us a quote the SAME night. I wish I had found him sooner. Since then, it's been an absolute pleasure working with him. Spoke with representative Steff and explained that I had a hard thick glaze of creosote that had ignited in the chimney the previous day. Steff, who was pleasant and professional during our conversation, said she would try to get a technician to my home today. I was quoted a price for the job which was fair and reasonable. Thirty minutes later, a Kiwi utility truck entered my driveway. Technicians Gabe and Regan introduced themselves and I gave them an overview of my woodstove and chimney. They wasted no time and immediately went to work. They thoroughly cleaned the chimney and removed all the glazed creosote; they went on to clean the stove, stove pipe, chimney cap and screen. A thorough inspection was performed, and I was happy to hear the clay flue was in good shape. Upon completion of the job, they vacuumed the area around my stove and cleaned up loose debris from outside. These two gentlemen did a great job and where very personable, knowledgeable. Gabe was at the ready with information on products currently on the market for upgrades and equipment that enhanced safety of wood burning stoves and chimney liners. He was very sloppy doing the patio area, splashing material on the house sills and siding. He got cement on my paving stone and knocked over my wife's spray figurine. He finished in one day and came back the next day to replace things and get paid. When the patio dried, it looked sloppy streaked, terrible. I wanted it redone. He redid it and told me give it a week to cure and look good. I paid him and waited. I called him after the week to tell him that it still looked terrible. I left a voicemail.
