Colonial Penn is selling you what they call "UNITS", higher coverage = more units = higher costs. 12 units would cost me $119.40 / month for $14,004 of coverage. This might cover burial expenses but there would not be much left over for other expenses and this is much more than $9.95! I have to wonder, if they are attempting to mislead you from the beginning, how difficult would it be to get paid in the event of a claim?
