Fairways were rough, greens inconsistent, and overall maintenance clearly lacking for the season. Yet, they're charging peak-season pricing for sub-par conditions. On top of that, the ranger's conduct was beyond frustrating. I waited behind a group the entire round who were hitting multiple balls off the tee and taking their time with no urgency whatsoever. Nothing was said to them until the 8th hole. Meanwhile, I played one extra ball on a single par 3--with no one waiting behind me--and was the one who got called out. I wasn't holding anyone up, and had played at a steady pace all day. I understand wanting to keep play moving, but if you're going to enforce rules, enforce them fairly across the board. Being singled out while others were clearly doing much more was insulting and completely soured the experience. All in all, it felt like I paid premium rates for a mediocre course and was treated poorly in the process. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to others--especially when there are plenty of other courses in better shape, for better value, and with staff who know how to treat their players.
