He has taken the time to follow-up with literature on diet and nutrition to help me improve my long-term health. It's almost like he's trying to put himself out of business! His office is run by his large family, so it's literally a family practice. They make up a very conscientious and friendly staff. Finally, his office even filled out my insurance infomation, mailed the papers to me so that I could review the options and make corrections if needed and sign, and included a SASE so that I could send it back free of charge. These personal touches show me that Dr. Barrilleaux truly cares about serving his patients. Finally, as an engineering/science major who wants to understand the root causes of any problems I may be having, he's happy to answer any questions you have about the way your body works.

I do NOT recommend the Sleep Disorder Center in Lake Charles. They had my husband sign a rental…read moreagreement form stating that he was to make 10 payments of $87.50 per month. He decided to pay it up front and paid a total of $875 before taking the machine home. He was told that in order for insurance to reimburse him, he had to be compliant and use it 4+ hours with 21 days. He asked for an adjustment to be made regarding the pressure and they did the opposite of what he asked. He then stopped using the machine. He was unable to make his follow up appointment and canceled. They called to reschedule and he turned it down. MONTHS later we received a bill from the sleep disorder center stating we owed over $800. Majority of the time they don't answer the phone and seldom do they call you back. He finally got in touch with them and they said the bill would be fixed. THEN we get another bill stating we still owe almost $500. It took all afternoon for me to get an answer regarding our bill and billing stating our amount was incorrect and that our bill was fixed to $150. After reaching out to our insurance company, I found out that they filed MULTIPLE claims, one of those claims being a monthly claim of $136 for SEVEN consecutive months. I accused them of playing games because it is so hard to get in touch with them and once you get someone's name, they continued to tell me they were in a meeting until closing. They twisted the words on the rental agreement form and threatened to increase our bill if I continued to persist. I will NEVER recommend the Sleep Disorder Center.
