It's great to feel that if one dentist isn't there that day, you can always see someone else and have a similar experience. I usually see Dr. Scott. On my last visit, Dr. Sekhon filled a small cavity, and it was a very painless and quick procedure. I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist to begin with, but she made the experience easy. I've had two cavities filled there now and I've had one tooth pulled, and I haven't had any issues. The dental assistants are all really nice and caring and I've never had an issue getting an appointment. I've recently moved out of the area and will certainly miss this group if I have to switch dentists.

Shor and Trufolo will not allow my records to transfer to Dr Liz. They are staying that they have a business agreement in place and I cannot transfer to another practice. In essence they are holding my records hostage which in turn requires me to see Shor and Trufolo whom I have no interest in seeing. The office manager has stated I am required to see Shor or Trufolo for my dental care. They are not at all concerned with my choice, it can only lead to one conclusion: they greedily only want the billing. They don't take the time to know you only threaten you when you want to leave. However, there are no facilities in my area (jersey city) that provide sedation dentistry while also accepting my insurance. I have been dealing with ongoing dental issues for over three years and have made continuous efforts to find a provider who can accommodate both my medical needs and insurance. Many offices do not accept my plan, others have closed due to personal problems in their, and some such as Rutgers University, have waiting lists of five years or more . Your office is one of the only providers available to me that accepts my insurance and allows transportation through my plan. My medical provider, who prescribes and monitors my Spravato treatment, has provided written documentation stating that I am medically cleared to safely undergo dental procedures using local anesthesia on the same day as my treatment. I have spent over three years trying to find a dental provider. Unfortunately, I have not been able to secure care elsewhere due to limited access--many offices do not accept my insurance, one have closed, and Rutgers University has extremely long waitlists. At this time, your office is the only option available to me that accepts my insurance and works with my transportation coverage. Since my last visit, my condition has worsened. I am now experiencing food getting trapped in my mouth, and it feels like there may be a hole forming near one of my teeth. This is causing increased discomfort, stress, and anxiety. I have submitted all required medical documentation and followed every step necessary for approval. Being denied care under these circumstances has caused additional emotional distress. I respectfully ask that you reconsider my case given the medical clearance and urgency of my condition.
