Their book collection is generally exceedingly boring. Old, obscure writers, poor condition. Hopefully my books will sell. This is a very well-kept and appointed store. They have some beautiful things. I am partial to fine china and crystal, but fortunately do not have room for any more. Prices here can be high, but the overall quality of the items is great. I struggled mightily against buying some particularly pretty china, did not give in, and wandered through the store. There was a tea cart that would have pounced on, but alas I already have one. Sad, because I like theirs better. At $175, it's not cheap. The people who volunteer here are very nice I was saddened to see a sign saying that they had to close the changing rooms because of tag switching and theft. That's really terrible. What awful people, to steal from a charity. Anyway, it was fun to wander around. Very pleasant store. Not necessarily a place to find bargains, exactly, but you might find something lovely and help a good cause.

Found this place on Yelp as I live in Manhattan and wanted to shop around for second hand items to compliment my current table scape. Ended up finding such treasures! Got 4 beautiful bowls with dusty blue gold inlay. They were marked $5/each and when I rang up she said it was my lucky day-- the whole store as 50% off! Phenomenal employees, organization of store and if you're looking for dishware/crystal pieces, they have a lot!

My love for finding cute little vintage and antique shops while traveling grows when the towns that…read moreI am in get cuter and cuter. So, naturally, when in Greenport, I was basically on an all day high. Walking up and down the main street, there are a few little (and big) vintage and antique shops, but The Times Vintage was by far the coolest. It literally feels like you are stepping back in time a few decades (photos uploaded for proof). There's a section in the back that feels like a movie set from the 50s, except you can touch and shop. Ideal dream store basically. I almost immediately found a bag I loved and I am very rarely as decisive as I was when I proudly declared that I would be getting it. Perfect summer staple that I've been on the hunt for for awhile. I'm so happy I found it second hand! I can finally delete the Banana Republic and Jcrew versions I've had saved. They have everything from records to clothes to houseware, all very well curated and decently priced. Very much worth a visit.

This spot was a bit out of the way for me however the town is so nice we made a day trip of exploring the north fork. Being a fan of Ricky Teevees designs, this was a must go! Price wise this spot is up there however it's real vintage stuff. I didn't need any help however the staff seemed nice and played some good music :)

As much as I'd love to rate this place with 5 stars due to the fact that the money goes to animals…read moreI just can't. The two gentleman working at the front are very sweet but unfortunately the two elderly women were my biggest problem. Not only do they price the items high but they have the worst attitudes I could ever imagine. We are in there spending money to support animals, be a little nicer. Instead of showing kindness, love and laughter, they make negative faces, rude hand gestures and are just overall those cranky old jealous grandmas that just hate life. So with that being said, support your local animals by donating to ARF directly not through this negative attitude thrift shop.

I was in search of a daybed cover that my mother had seen online, but alas, it's only available online or by order. The very gracious sales lady suggested a lovely quilt, but alas the daybed has a high, upholstered back. We would have to fold a quilt in half lengthwise. After some consideration, I bought a pool floatie instead. There were some gorgeous Matouk bed linens, but I definitely do not need more sheets!

A Treasure Hunter's Dream! Good Ground Antiques really lives…read moreup to its name -- it's solid ground for uncovering some seriously good finds! It's a beautifully curated collection overflowing with incredible finds in every corner. It's run by one owner and features 12 unique vendors offering a wide range of items: tables, books, maps, flags, glassware, lamps, flags, baskets, nautical items, historical pieces, cute sunglasses -- basically everything you can think of and more. Some pieces are very reasonably priced, while others felt a bit steep, but the overall quality and variety makes it well worth exploring. The layout is impressive: there's street parking, two side parking lots, a spacious front store, two barns in the back, and a large outdoor area filled with beautiful teak furniture and garden décor. I'm officially obsessed -- hidden gems are tucked everywhere you look! Huge thanks to Pam for being so warm and helpful -- we truly appreciated your time. I found several fantastic pieces to use for my business displays and can't wait to return. They take cash and card. If you're in the area, this is an absolute must-stop! They're currently open 7 days a week, but be sure to check the hours before you go -- they closed at 5 p.m. when I visited. I really hope this review helps someone discover Good Ground Antiques -- this place is amazing and deserves way more love than it's currently getting on Yelp! ENJOY.

There's china, crystal, silver, lamps, jewelry, odds and ends, nautical thingies, etc. There's also a barn with furniture and chandeliers, also an enormous snake skin, I don't think it's from a local snake. Prices are on the high side for some things, but that's not surprising. Others are quite reasonable. It takes a while to wander the closely packed aisles. But that's very enjoyable.
