I have hired 5 attorneys in my lifetime and Ms. Watkins takes the lead by miles when it comes to representation quality. Her attention to details, her willingness to fight for what you need and her unsurpassed skills in the courtroom make her stand out to me. Some attorneys will talk down to you and make you feel stupid just because your knowledge of how the courts and laws work are not as good as theirs. She never does this and helps you understand what you are facing and why. That is really nice when you understand what is happening when in front of the judge because I know it can be intimidating. I paid David $2500 to help me with a very small municipal charge and he never provided a single document or anything from the state. I have no idea why I was charged and still don't to this day! I asked him for months for an explanation of what happened that night- a police report- a discovery--- anything! He provided NOTHING and he didn't even mention that I had an option as a citizen to fight this charge. He walked into court, had them go get documents while we were there because he wasn't prepared, and then just took the charge and didn't fight it at all. I didn't even know it was an option to fight for myself. The state needs to prove you did the crime- don't let them charge you thousands of dollars just to get fooled by this disgusting criminal system. Don't let this happen to you!
