Then, after all that, and the tests are finally completed, they wanted $50 to sign the paperwork confirming the results of the tests (which was supposed to be part of the follow up). My BP and heart medications were not refilled, she told me to get them refilled where they were prescribed. To add insult to injury, I was told I was suffering from mental illness. Ironically, the Tampa Bay Times just reported this morning that BAYCARE CORPORATION is tapping into 4 million dollars in funding mental health treatment. Something in the milk is not clean. I will never again visit another corporate hospital or physician, be it BAYCARE or Advent. Both have treated my spouse and myself as a hamburger on the assembly line at McDonald's.

I feel ALIVE again!! My therapist, Marlene, Dr. Camile Santarpio and psychiatrist Laylani went above and beyond! They gave me the life that I always dreamed of!! The therapists leading the groups by Olivia, Rob, Karah, Andrea, Bethany, and Shannon were so powerful and safe spaces.. and that helped me work through so much of my trauma. They also renewed my faith in doctors, one that had been killed by so many doctors in my past 22 years of chronic illness and chronic pain.
