At first I was super suspicious of a company that claimed would give me money. I did my research (read reviews, looked up the company on Better Business Bureau, I even found people who know the owner of the company) and after only finding good things about this company my husband and I decided to go for it. Working with this company taught me that the IRS is not always awesome but this company is. We resubmitted our taxes for three years and for two of the years, the IRS sent back forms for us to fill out or at one point, outright denied us of the additional funds. During each of these times, College Tax Refunds swooped in with knowledge and know-how and in the end, (after 10 months) we were able to get all the money originally quoted for us and with it pay off our student loans completely. If you are thinking of using this service, do it quickly. You can only go back three years into the past so I have already had many friends who were skeptical and then by the time they were willing they had already lost the opportunity to resubmit their taxes for one or two years. read more

College Tax Refunds has been awesome to work with. I originally heard of them through a friend. I was able to use their services to amend several tax returns and get back an extra $2,000 I otherwise would have missed. After my success I referred my sister and friends. I have had several friends have the same luck as I and they helped my sister get back more than $2500. This is not a scam or anything fishy. They basically look back at your tax returns and see if you filed anything incorrectly. I suggest everyone at least check them out, but especially anyone that filed their taxes themselves like I did. They were very professional and very efficient at what they do. I highly recommend them! read more

I grew up knowing/thinking that "if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't true." College Tax Refunds is definitely the exception! It is true! This is not a scam. I have two tax internships under my belt and this is legitimate! My wife and I received over $3k! We are extremely happy with the service! All you need to is find and upload previous tax information and you could receive thousands of dollars from the IRS! Steve was my college professor a few yrs ago and I took a tax class from him. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and ethical. I recommend this service to anyone! There are potentially thousands of dollars that the IRS owes you, that's what you have to lose! read more

My husband and I have used College Tax Refunds for 4 years and they have helped us tremendously. We even had 1 year that was audited by the IRS at random and College Tax Refunds helped us on our behalf to resolve the matter. It took an extra year to get the return because the IRS was slow to get back to us but College Tax Refunds didn't give up in helping us get our return. The other 3 years we filed and didn't get audited we received a return within 5 weeks of sending in the amended tax forms. Thank you College Tax Refunds! read more

We just got a check from the IRS for $355! We were able to meet Steve Hunt in person and learn about how this refund works. After talking to him we knew this service wouldn't be some kind of set up to get our information. We referred my brother-in-law and he and his wife were able to get $3,000 back on their old tax returns! My only disappointment was that we weren't given an Amazon gift card like we were promised for keeping our appointment and referring some of our friends (this was before they made the referral link). read more

I am very, very happy with our experience with College Tax Refunds! Steve was very prompt to return texts, emails and phone calls. He answered every question I had and even more. I felt like I had guidance every step of the way. He was able to get us back over $1,400 for just one year, plus the IRS paid us interest on top of what we got back. Steve is honest and I felt like this was a great use of my time. Give it a try, it's worth it! I have recommended this to all of my college friends and family. read more

AWESOME SERVICE! I would definitely recommend College Tax Refunds. Steve and his fellow CPAs are kind, professional, and amended our returns quickly. When it comes to communication, whether it be through email or on the phone, they are quick to respond and very polite. All of our amended returns were approved, and we received a refund 8-12 weeks later. Thank you College Tax Refunds! read more

They are very reasonable. The founding purpose for the service is to help college students obtain a greater tax return. It is established by a professor at my university of BYU Idaho. He understands the financial struggle of his students, so he studied the tax code to find a way to help. I got a good amount of money from the service. read more
