I spent months trying to get help and get answers, with no response. I ultimately had to file a claim with my credit card company, and thankfully, I was able to receive a full reimbursement after the company ignored my attempts to resolve the issue. I'm usually someone who is very cautious and doesn't fall for scams, which is why this was especially frustrating. The sales approach was extremely sophisticated and convincing, but the actual service did not deliver what was promised. It delivered nothing. Do not waste your money on this. Save yourself the hundreds of dollars and the months of frustration.

After paying over $10,000 and completing the program, National University told her that the requirements for an administrator credential had changed and that she did not qualify to receive one, even after successfully passing all the required courses. In other words, unlike every legitimate university that pre-screens applicants; National University gladly takes your money, places all of the responsibility on you to determine if you actually qualify, and then only at the end tells you whether or not there is an issue. National refused to offer any refund and was far from helpful.

Now, two years later, he's heading to Francis Parker, and looking back on his time at FDL, I can't express how grateful I am to the amazing team there. And yet, now Julian models those same behaviors. FDL teachers are kind and warm, but firm. They set a high bar, and the kids rise to meet it. At the same time, there is tremendous fun had on the daily at this school. Julian greets me at pick up with a big smile and a hug, his cheeks flushed from play and sand in his shoes. He excitedly shows me his projects and tells me funny stories and things he learned from the day. FDL is exceptional. If you have the chance to send your child there, take it. You would be hard pressed to find a more loving and capable setting. We will miss it terribly!

My son 100% understands Spanish when it is spoken to him and he mixes Spanish and English in his vocabulary regularly. The first year I signed up with College Planning Source was great, they were welcoming, informative, friendly, and kept me updated, and the greatest bit was, I didn't barely have to do any of the work myself! For 500$, the starting fee, I could get my FAFSA taken care of, as well as my siblings for one year. What a deal! I ended up having to constantly remind them of my brother and his forms, although in the end it worked out so that was fine. When I was speaking with Michelle, who at the time I was there was the CEO, everything was fine. Having such a great experience with them, I decided to rehire them to do it again this year, and after paying another 500$ fee I was met with a lot of silence. Small confusing requests and reminders, minimal contact, a change in personnel, so there wasn't one specific person handling my case anymore, it's now about 3 people and each one needs a reminder of who I am. Not only this, after sending in the requested information, I did not receive emails confirming the reception of the materials, and I was also not immediately informed that things were not working out. I waited THREE MONTHS to find out that I had to request some papers and send them to my school, a process which takes weeks if not a whole month. During these 3 months, I was not sitting around thinking they handled it, because I sent several emails asking of things were going well, if I needed to provide any more information, or if there was anything else I could do, and they would either not respond to the email at all of say "the retrieval tool can take 4-6 weeks to work"... well, they had about 12. So ultimately, there is a problem, they can do nothing about it, and the inner workings of the IRS and financial aid organizations of my school are a mystery to me, which is why I hired them in the first place. I may not be attending university next year, but if this works out, I will never trust them to handle my things, or any other "financial planning" company. All in all, if it's your first try and they're trying to woo you, you might be just fine. But I feel like they don't give your case much attention and there's a lot of miscommunication. They are untimely, unresponsive, and uncaring. Go ahead and give them a try, but watch out for these warning signs during your consultation (and don't fall for the charming jokes or smiles, they all disappear when you strictly communicate via slow emails anyway). read more

College Planning Source is as good as it gets! I would highly recommend CPS to anyone that needs help on their college applications. It is without question that applying to colleges can seem daunting, to students and parents alike, but CPS simply made the process easier. Whether it be through assistance on essays from CPS's amazing editors, through advice on which colleges to apply to and how to build a strong student profile, or through laughs and conversations with the friendly college counselors, applying to college became less stressful. The whole team is professional and caring, putting their best effort to make a family's experience with them seamless and enjoyable. I worked with Christine for a majority of my time with CPS, and she helped me portray my best self to colleges. She is an amazing counselor and person and is extremely passionate about what she does. I probably wrote about 80 essays throughout my applications, and yet she always had a new perspective or suggestion on how I could make each one unique and representative of myself. Although I started my college application process clueless and confused, countless hours of working with Christine helped me become a better writer and student. Thousands of words and dozens of essays later, I stand as a proud CAL Golden Bear. Thanks to CPS our two kids received valuable assistance in getting through the stress of the college application process. They suggested the kids open up their options to several institutions based on various factors. With his help, my daughter Ana spend the summer before my senior year at talking college film classes at Syracuse University and Arizona State University. This experience was vital to her decision to go pre-med, and it would not have been possible without her. As for college applications, Allison help was truly invaluable. We started in the beginning of August and met every single week until I got my ED acceptance letter. Allison always found a way to improve Ana's writing, even if it was as simple as changing one word. Anytime She had a question, she had an answer, and she helped Ana showcase the best version of her. Applying to Film was not what we where expecting, it was overwhelming with portfolio, additional essay's it was incredibly stressful for Ana and Allison was a game changer and guide her all the time. Ana applied early as Allison suggested and that was the best decision we made, Ana prepared with time (beginning of junior year) and got ready, apply Early, that give us a better opportunity with colleges acceptance and financial aid. By December Senior year we already had accepted letters from many schools including Ana's top chose Emerson College in Boston, it was not an easy decision with too many acceptance letters from amazing schools and an incredible financial package. I can tell you that any SAT tests results are depending on how much your kids put their time and effort, classes or tutors can only assist them. This place is very honest business. We took summer boot camp but needed to be off for 2 weeks. They gave us a credit for fall extension program. Initially I thought we still had to pay a couple hundred dollars but they changed me only $20 ( $700 value) Staff is very responsive and teachers are great. They had a Pizza party at the end of the summer boot camp to celebrate all hard work. I thought it was a nice gesture.

During that initial conversation, my husband was listening in the background, and we agreed that while it was important to build a balanced list, we did not want our son working with someone so pessimistic or limiting.
