Then he drove to our hotel in the afternoon and dropped off another prescription for something else that came up. We did not have the medical card with us and he said not to worry about payment and fax the card when we get back home. All of that and he is a young, brilliant and knowledgeable doctor who trained at the Children's Medical center in Dc and lived in Glover Park for 6 years. Absolutely without question the best ever.

At one time, he lived in my home town and was a researcher for Scheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia. This is a very prestigious organization. The other day I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped in his office for his opinion on mask wearing after Covid vaccination. He had an answer for me. He is that gracious. Of course he has decades of practicing ophthalmology. As an RN, I want the most educated person to care for me. Doctors who do not research the newest technology and practices are not , in my opinion, safe for patients . Research and board certification is a matter of patient safety. I am a nurse but I am his patient. You will be safe and well tended by Dr. Ernesto Collazo.

He was able to diagnose and adjust me perfectly, like I'd been his patient for years. He also took time to show me the exercises that I need to strengthen my areas of vulnerability, and then I had some soft tissue work done by one of the wonderful therapists there. I am SO happy and grateful to have had this amazing experience -- I was in a lot of pain and I walked out feeling much better. I will be back for maintenance appointments and definitely for a massage as soon as I get back from more travel. Pro-Tip: There is an "athlete recovery day spa" called Humidity next door. There are all sorts of state of the art therapies offered including infrared sauna, hot/cold plunges, compression boots/gravity chairs, and well-equipped massage amenities. I am super excited to try everything on the menu!

I got a laugh from the review below complaining about waiting for an hour from her appointment to see the dentist, she clearly has never been to visit a dental or medical professional in Puerto Rico, typical wait times are on the order of 3-4 hours and appointments are usually just advisory. Dr. Cruz has always been timely for me, except for once when there was an emergency case which he allowed to skip the line.
