I went to Hilltop in February to have them make me a custom 8 foot wood slab. Dealt entirely with…read moreJared throughout the process. They had issues related to a mill being stolen but I was willing to wait because they're a small, local company. So Jared says my slab is set to be cut first week of May and he contacted me May 3rd to verify measurements and he says they're getting ready to cut it. That's the last contact Jared had with me. I recommended to my family to go to hilltop for an unrelated wood project. While they were at hilltop in early July, they asked about the status of my wood slab and were told "yeah, we couldn't do that". That was the entire explanation. I never heard from Jared. Horrible customer service and honestly would never do business with them. I'd still be waiting if family members hadn't happened to ask while they were there. Do yourself a favor and go to Asheville Hardware instead, I walked in and had my pick of over 100 slabs, got one for cheaper than hilltop quoted me and had it in my garage that same day. So hilltop took 6 months and I got no slab. Asheville Hardware, I had a slab in my truck within an hour. The owner of hilltop left me a voicemail after I contacted them. Apparently he had no idea any of the issues with my order or the customer service I received which isn't a good sign for an extremely small business.

Jenniferfer even came and made recommendations on what we could do for privacy on front door which was rounded at top and 1/2 glass. A shutter was made and was not what we envisioned. The owner Steve came out and it was decided to make another. Long story short we are COMPLETELY satisfied with the new shutter and the install by the very nice young man Nicholas. Jennifer even called too see how we liked the new shutter. Great experience in every way. Thank you!

Not only did he fail to complete our order, but he also gave us boxes of shirts that were dirty and had holes in them. He even told us to go to Hobby Lobby to buy shirts ourselves and said he would print on them. Mind you, we had already paid for the T-shirts, and our order was in the five figures! Absolutely unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere!

We chose quartz for our countertops and Lida helped us choose the perfect pattern. She also did much research to help us secure a particular sink and faucet we wanted and the pricing for the project was within our budget. The installation team were professional, kind, worked with precision and it was obvious they were experts - when they finished installing they made sure we inspected everything and that we were happy. They also completely cleaned up very nicely. The kitchen is beautiful and we are over the moon! I bought a door from Harbro Mobile Home Supply and used "their person" to install the door assuming…read morehe would be more familiar with their products. I'm giving 2 stars because they were given the incorrect measurements and the wrong size was delivered for install. Archie quickly worked to get the correct door and installed same day. The issue was the quaily of work and the nonchalant attitude of Julie. What i will not tolerate is someone insulting my intelligence. The door is not properly aligned making it tight on one side. I'm sure all the cosmetic issues after taking the old door out and putting a new one in is not the installer responsibility but still not pleased with the install. This is what happens when you're trying to take care of things for your parents and you live 3000 miles away. This was another lesson learned at my expense.
