The hotel that I was staying at recommended that I go to Hospiten, but I read many bad reviews of them overcharging tourists ($5000 USD) because the resort and Hospiten have an agreement to scam tourists.
I went on Yelp and found Cruz Roja Mexicana, and took a taxi to the clinic. There were a lot of people, but the doctors and staff were efficient and quick, and treated my boyfriend swiftly. They gave him an IV and prescribed medication (he was in the clinic for about an hour and a half), and we were able to pick up the medicine at the pharmacy right next door.
The treatment itself cost about $30 USD, and the medication was about $15 USD, much less than the hospitals nearby.
Overall, I would highly recommend this clinic if you are having an emergency and need treatment ASAP. I would suggest having a Spanish speaker with you, though, as there was only one person working that spoke English in the clinic and they were quite busy.
