Not only do they offer a good range of chocolate goodies they also have a little area at the back of the shop which sells cute little knickknacks to grace your table The staff are friendly and very helpful. I sat there today drinking my cup of hot drinking chocolate, getting lost in the lyrics of Coles Corner by Richard Hawley playing in the background. I felt like the cat that got the cream! Only it was perfectly thick soothing chocolate spiced with Coriander, turmeric, orange peel, cinnamon, black pepper , lemon peel, pimento and last but not least chilli! HEAVENLY! Sooooo...Go drink some chocolate, buy some chocolate then buy something to take home to eat or drink it from!

Eure Idee ist super, aber wenn man als Kunde noch gerne seinen Kassenbon und das bereits bezahlte Essen haben moechte und voellig neutral danach fragt Kann ich noch meinen Kassenzettel und mein Essen hab, das sie hinter sich gestellt haben, dann ist es eine Frechheit, wenn dann eine Kollegin dazu kommt, die einem voellig unbegruendet an den Kopf knallt, man solle freundlicher sein. Kollegin? Nein, wie sich rausstellt, die Store-Managerin. Gehts noch? Ich habe mein Essen nicht herbeigesungen oder auf Knien danach gebettelt, ich habe es nur gerne haben wollen. Mit einem Laecheln ueber die Situation, in der es ewig gedauert hat, einen Gutschein als Teilbetrag einzuloesen, weil die nettere Mitarbeiterin an der Kasse, da noch Kopfrechnen musste, weil es falsch eingegeben war. Und ja, aus Erfahrung haett ich immer gerne einen Kassenbon, und ich wurde danach gefragt und sagte Ja, bitte!, was wieder vergessen wurde Aber Hey! Bin ich unfreundlich aber moment ach nein, ich bin ja Kunde, der ist hier nicht Koenig, sondern soll nur das Geld bringen.. Freundlichkeit und Service ist anders! The service of this shop... dear lord. It´s the WORST!…read more A while back I caught myself drooling over their shop for quite some time, so when I got a coupon for my birthday I was over the moon! However it took me a while to actually get to the shop to use it. When I finally got in the shop and grabbed everything I wanted to buy with my coupon, they said the coupon code was invalid.. even though no-one ever used it before and the coupon was still sealed in the enveloppe when I handed it over. (And all the data was also correct: my name was on it, the date of purchase, a coupon code and a signature) There was no service or whatsoever regarding this problem, the girl in the shop simply said that I should call the hotline to get this problem fixed. So, the same day I called them.. apparently no one was there to answer my call.. Better yet: the next 2 weeks I tried calling them for almost every day and I never got someone to answer my call, actually the automatic lady on the phone said: "nobody is available to answer your call, please send an e-mail or leave a message afther the beep." I´ve sent multiple e-mails and guess what: still haven´t got an answer! This is truely the worst service imaginable. Their shop looks so gorgeous and sophisticated, so does the food and accessoires in their shop by the way. But purely by their lack of service I now refuse to spend a dime at Kochhaus. Too bad though, because if they would have given me the proper service, I would probably be a returning customer and brand ambassador. Their loss.

You walk around and look at the day's offerings and pick what you'd like to make. Then you can grab the recipe and everything you need right at the station. The store is very clean and pretty. The meals are affordable. The idea is perfect for somebody who is new to cooking because they make it so simple! My boyfriend and I got a vegetarian pasta with sun dried tomatoes and spinach. The recipe was very easy to follow and the ingredients were fresh. However we thought the finished product was too salty. Still I'd love to see something like this store in America!
