They started out caring…read moreand nice with the impression they will have your backs but need the full retainer before court starts, which is understandable . After they received the retainer they had went shopping or something as they had no clue regarding the wickedness of my case and didn't even object or insinuate they knew law. This firm will come up with every excuse in book why they couldn't assist you properly and blame you for things you asked for assistance for. Most of us didn't go to school for law and that's the reason we hire lawyers. These guys are mascots pretending to be lawyers. They charge me twice for one hearing stating they had to prepare twice for my one hearing and a hearing they had no clue regarding law about. They couldn't object to anything relevant, site any other cases dealing with law why some things should be admitted or not and the most unprofessional law firm around. They will quit on you asap and over charge for everything. You shouldn't have to ask your lawyers what's going on in your case and how to get updates . They want you too so they can charge you for communication. it's sad folks. Don't run, sprint faster than Usain Bolt away from this firm. Don't even think of them and they still owe me money . Bunch of money grabbers with incompetent brains.

After paying thousands of dollars, absolutely nothing was done. Communication was almost nonexistent -- emails and calls were rarely returned, and when I did get a response, it lacked clarity, urgency, or any real strategy. There was no follow-through, no clear action taken on my case, and no sense that anyone was truly advocating for me or my children. I trusted this attorney to guide me through one of the most emotionally difficult seasons of my life, and instead, I was met with delay, indifference, and complete lack of effort. This law firm displayed everything a family lawyer should not: lack of transparency, poor communication, and zero sense of accountability. I would not recommend them to anyone -- especially not someone needing real support through a sensitive and high-stakes legal matter.

We had our bankruptcy case filed first under 100% repayment plan, and when you guys saw that we…read morecould not afford a 100% repayment plan, as originally discussed, you guys revised the paperwork at a 60% repayment plan, now back to 100% repayment plan with no paperwork to review and nothing for us to sign acknowledging this? Just a letter in the mail with the increase, When our income had not changed. We were provided with bankruptcy paperwork on a client of yours, not even our paperwork. You provided us with personal information on their bankruptcy case their first and last name they're mailing address. You also filed a debt from one of your other clients under our bankruptcy case and had to get that fixed when WE pointed out that was someone elses debt. AND you admitted you accidentally inputted someone elses debt into our filing! You guys do not provide us with any regular updates on our case. The only time you contact us is if you need documents because the trustee or the courts are requiring it. You do not provide us with any updates or information if anything changes to our bankruptcy case. We were told by your paralegal after our filings and had questions, that we should have been well informed how bankruptcy works before filing something like this and we should probably go on Reddit and read how bankruptcy works because it is not your guys's job nor fault for the questions that we have. I was told back in March 2026 when speaking to the attorney (or so she said she was an attorney) regarding my huge increase in our mortgage that we should probably seek getting a second job or looking for a promotion in order to be able to pay for our bankruptcy and these increased bills/increased cost of living, instead of working with us on how to figure out how we can adjust our repayment plan with the cost of living going up and our mortgage. These are just a few things we have gone through with this firm in less than 8 months. And to think to allow this for the next 3-5 years? I want to cry. The Texas Bar and BBB will need to be more involved with how this firm handles their clients privacy, paperwork, and ethical conduct...

UPDATE ON MY BIG WIN "Update:…read more I Got My Car Back Thanks To The Hard Work Of The Texas DMV!! I am sharing the truth about my case so others aren't misled. My bankruptcy was dismissed because this firm failed to communicate critical court matters until less than 24 hours before the hearing. As Well As Using An Outdated Address On The Court Case, Yet He Entered The Correct Address On My 1st Payment To His Law Firm Which Was Reflected On My On My Payment Receipt They Emailed To Me. On March 26, 2025, Marcus Leinart allowed the automatic stay to be lifted, leading to the loss of my property through no fault of my own. He allowed falsified information regarding my insurance and vehicle status to be presented in court--information I have now proven to be FALSE. As someone who worked for 30 years and is now disabled with heart disease, I have endured nearly 12 months of mental anguish and was deprived of my property for over 101 days. I recovered my vehicle and title myself in January 2026 through a Texas DMV investigation that resulted in the dealership's license being revoked. My attorney DID NOT help; his negligence caused this unjust suffering. I am still seeking full restitution for the dishonest business practices that cost me my peace and my property." If You Want An Attorney That Will Work In Your Best Interest, I Advise You To Seek An Honest Representative!

Yet the day of my appt on may 30, I saw a withdrawal of 275$ from my checking by Leinart Law Firm. Their assertion that I set this up and was in agreement is based on a form (see attachment) that is titled "Application and Authorization POST-FILING" . (See Marcus Leinart's response w/ attached screenshot). I planned, on may 30 to provide a payment of $500 to fulfill the retainer which was to be the condition for my case being filed with the court. When someone takes $275 for a payment plan, when the application states that $1 will be debited for verification purposes, anyone who is not stupid will indeed become skeptical. I NEVER PAID! I NEVER RECEIVED ANY SERVICES, NOT ONE! In my situation unbeknownst, another withdrawal from my account occurred on August 6 even though I already rescinded permission, cancelled my bank card/issued a new one and filed a dispute with my bank. There were many other indicators of bad practice so let the discerning decide what's theirs for the taking when approaching such human excrement as Leinart Law Firm. Let Marcus speak for himself if you care to afford him the opportunity: (see screenshots) *in my phone I saved the contact and "Liz" / Elizabeth which was who I was told I had my consultation with, which occurred over the phone. Yet... Marcus seems to jump on and off in our threat of correspondence l, referring to his law firm in the first person. See you soon Marcus! I'll take what's mine and what I feel entitled to take since you did the same
